“I am so sorry,” Ostana spoke softly as she held my hair behind my head, the contents of my stomach emptying itself out into the porcelain bowl. “I wish I could’ve been there to see you stand up to that jackass,”

Emrys watched me closely the whole time the nurse had checked over my body, informing the both of us I had just passed out from shock or anxiety and needed rest while Ostana fussed over feeding me chicken noodle soup soon after the nurse had left; Arrow and Thomas then came in, handing papers to both Emrys and Laker, and twenty minutes after that, Emrys dismissed everyone.  

“I missed this,” Ostana smiled sadly towards me as we sat down at the small brown table, lunch starting to be served, and she glanced towards Ethan who was busy trying to figure out how to place his napkin in his lap. It was just us three together again for lunch, except instead of a noisy and hell hole high school, we were in the palace in Star City.
