“Oh Jade! The shoe you got me is so pretty” I gushed at the shoe Jade bought for me.It was transparent and plain at the top but the real design and beauty was on the heel. It had diamond butterflies engraved on the heel making it look so spectacular.“I almost got you some black stiletto. Just as I was about paying for them I saw this shoe sparkle in the corner. Once I looked at it I saw you.” Jade grinned.“My feet will surely be on vogue's front page by Sunday!” I squealed excitedly.“Mhn” Jade nodded, stuffing a muffin into her mouth. Lucky bitch with great metabolism.“Okay enough of the shoe. Sit down here and hand your hair over to me” she snatched the shoe from my hand after she had finished her muffin.“Fine” I huffed and took a seat so she could style my hair. My makeup was already set. All that was remaining for me to do was to style my hair and wear my cloth.“When is your boo dude coming go get you?”“In thirty— hold on a second. What the hell is a boo dude?” I asked laugh

Her facial expression changed immediately he said it and put his hands around my waist but she started smiling almost immediately as though nothing happened.“Oh, Ella. I didn't see you there” she said in disdain.Yeah right, because I'm invincible.“Miranda” I nodded at her with a tight smile while she eyed me like I was a rotten piece of meat.“How is Sandra?” she smirked thinking she had struck a nerve not knowing I don't give two shits about a certain boyfriend stealing bitch. “She should be fine” I answered, smiling sweetly at her.“Oh right, I'm sorry. You wouldn't know. You guys broke it off on a bad note. I'm really sorry about Linc though. I never trusted him to start with.” Is she being serious now?“Yeah, thanks for summarising the events that have occurred in my life in the past one month. You really are keeping tabs on me.” I rose an eye at her.“Word travels fast.” she smirked.“Ivs, I'm sure she wouldn't mind if we danced a little” she placed her hand on his arm.“Um, N

“So Ivy, huh?” Ivan said with his eyes trained on the road and a hint of a smile on his lips.“It slipped” I said sheepishly, blushing.“Oh, it slipped. Meaning that's what you've been calling me in your mind all this while” he said finally laughing out.“Why are you making it such a big deal?” I pouted playfully.“Because, you're embarrassed about it and I don't want you to be. You can call me anything you want and I'll be fine with it” he looked at me and smiled sweetly then he took my hand and held it on his thigh, rubbing soothing circles. “But Ivy is my favourite” he grinned looking back at the road.“How can you choose Ivy as your favourite when you haven't even heard the others?” I laughed“Ouuu, so there are others, huh? Tell me, I want to hear all of them” he said wiggling his eyebrows.“Oh my God, you're impossible” I laughed covering my face with my free hand.“I was just saying! There isn't any other one” I laughed more.“Okay, if you say so” he grinned.★“Babe, we're her

“One of these two things will have to happen; either you delete the picture or you lock it up in a hidden folder never to see the light of the day”“But I want to see it first thing every morning; it would be in a frame on my bed side table, what do you say?”“Nope, no way Ivy; I really hope you’re joking” I panted.I didn’t remember this route being this long. I convinced Ivan to come swimming with me at the lake Dad used to fish in when ever we spent a weekend here. Well, it didn’t take much to convince him; I brought up the idea of swimming and he was up for it. “So long as I see you in a bikini” were his exact words laced with his legendary undies dropping wink.Pervert much.“I honestly feel like we’re lost” I complained as my sandals crunched on dried leaves and twigs behind Ivan who was somehow leading the way to somewhere he’s never been to but with my directions guiding him.“I hear water! We must be close” he said excitedly holding my hand -which he hadn’t left since we ente

Linc’s pov:I woke up feeling so low -just as I’ve felt for the last few months. My blinds were closed haphazardly, letting little rays of light to seep in. I was still fully dressed from the party I went to last night. Everything was a blur, I could only remember drinking myself into oblivion.Waking up was pointless; it was just another day to feel down in the dumps with no hope and light at the end of the tunnel. The light filtering in from the blinds were disturbing and just as I grabbed my blanket to cover my face because what’s the point in waking up, mum called me to have breakfast. No matter the fact that everything was going downhill, mum made sure to put the family together. We always had breakfast and dinner together; the littlest things count. With the need to make mum feel like she’s really holding us all together, I hurriedly took off my clothes from last night and put on fresh nighties so that they wouldn’t know that I wasn’t in my room after dinner. On getting to the ki
