Chapter 15Alessia Claw ~After I had shown Ryan and the rest of the league of phoenixes to where they could pass the night, I went straight to mine. About six hours ago, I was a locked up prisoner to one of the most or rather, the cruelest being in existence but I still had my child.I still had my Elena.I thought by escaping to meet my brother Frederick, we both would be safe but it seems that even the royal army of vampyres were no match for the sole mastermind surrounding what has happened to my kingdom and is gradually spreading all through this world – Lord Cassius.Along the way, I lost my baby to the human world without an iota of hope that I’ll always be there form her. My best friend, Sophia had to become the one who is to be her mother there.I had agreed with Frederick that I won’t try to bring her back until it’s the right time, I won’t have any witch or warlock bring her back or go to her in the h

Chapter 16Alessia Claw ~ “How is that happening say more of possible?” Morgana asked ending the mirror spell. “Weren’t the extinct ancestral warlocks and witches the only ones capable of making such portals at will? Even my magic can’t make a portal such as that.” she added with a grin on her face. “Yes! That’s a problem but right now, we have more to worry about and these lycans and the man whom I suspect to be their master are ranking the list.” “Go and get Frederick! We have to sound the coven’s alarm. Those lycans are going to be here anytime and I have a bad feeling that it’s for the both of us.” I added letting Morgana know that I meant those words. Without another word, Morgana headed to Frederick’s chambers while I went for Liam’s. I got there and knocked on the doors of his chambers. With a stern face, he opened the

Chapter 20Red Adamson ~ A DECADE AND SIX YEARS LATER“Buzz!!! Buzz!!! Buzz!!!” The alarm clock kept on buzzing until I decided to quit being lazy and just get up from bed. I got up from my bed running my hands about my eyes and headed for the bathroom after slipping in a pair of flip flops down on my feet. Quickly, I had a warm bath and came out looking ready for another day. Like every teenager, I decided to take my dressing code more serious than necessary. “Oh well, time to go to the most annoying place on the planet - HIGH SCHOOL.” I said taking a good look at myself at the mirror stand. My hair was in good shape. As black as the night itself flowing down my shoulder in a ponytail. My eyes following suite in shade. I was perfect for school. “Red!!! Breakfast is ready!!!” yelled my mom from the lower part of the house.

Chapter 19Frederick Claw ~ After Cassius’ attack on the Eastern vampyre coven, I retorted to assemble the elders from the four high covens. We had a meeting and decided that no one of us is capable to defeat the being in question as a result of the fact that he probably has all our powers and abilities. We agreed that we needed the supernatural world united in order to take Cassius down. In the process of unifying the world, I found out that Cassius had also attacked and drained several other creatures of their powers. At a high range, the only creatures who were left out were the lycans whose fate appeared to be tied to his. Days turned into weeks and weeks into months and months into years and years into decades but there was not a sight of Cassius or his dwelling place. The lands of the lycans were covered with a barrier so strong that even the powers of the elder witches and warlock

Chapter 18Ryan McFlame ~ “My master needs you alive and going if not, I would have loved to make bird soup out of you.” The lycan added walking up to me. “In your dreams!” I said making a ball of fire in my hands and threw it at him while my bruise healed. “Don’t waste your strength.” he said dodging the fireball. “Cassius is getting your abilities. The sooner you and they all accept that, the quicker we can get out of this coven.” he added raising me up with both hands by the neck. “Not on my watch!!!” stormed Frederick running the lycan through with his sword by the chest. “I told you to get off the back of the Royal family! You should have listened! You should have never came near Alessia!!!” he added taking the sword deeper into his chest. “Caaassiuus!!!” screeched the lycan befo

Chapter 17Ryan McFlame ~ Together, I and my brothers got ourselves prepared for the worst and finding Frederick and Morgana, they followed us to what those in the Eastern coven referred to as ‘The Control Room’. It was a very wide and spacious room with screens, switches and controls on one side out of four, and a couple of weapons on another side opposite to that. I watched as the lycans made their way through the gates and then proceeded into the coven. Frederick made us all equip and arm ourselves. Like him, I had no intentions of going down without a fight. The mission of those lycans is unclear so we all would have to take extreme caution. The lycans went straight to our direction. In a short while, they were just at the opposite side of the door leading in and out of the control room. At the same time as they were doing their best to break the heavy door down, a man appeared behind Rex and held

Chapter 31Cassius Rein ~Using a spell that makes use of dark magic to take over Fredericks mind and turn him into a puppet just for a very short while, I was able to have him take the flower from the tree and have it over to me. It was clear that when that flower was taken down by any creature, there was no escaping the price to be paid so to avoid such price, I had Frederick take it down for me instead. That way, I get rid of him and get what I went there for.Through the ancient books on the Tree of Magic that I had read, I was made to understand that amongst the price for the flower, the takers soul would be trapped in the underworld for a thousand years if not eternity. It was more of a punishment than a price. What better thing to do than to kill two birds with one stone? I transported myself and the rest surviving lycans who no doubt were of very few numerations back to the entrance of the lycan lands.“Come over here!&r

Chapter 30Frederick Claw ~“Get out of my way!” Thomas said totally ignoring my questions still walking closer.“Why on earth will you want to do this? I won’t lie to you but at this point in time, I don’t think that I have ever hated someone to the extent to which I hate you! Are you conversant with all what you have put a lot of these creatures through just because of your thirst and hunger for magical power?” I asked this time stretching out the lycan slayer to his direction for him to know that he must give me an answer.“Get out of my way!!” he said this time with more force in his words.“No! you’re going to answer me and you're going to answer me now!!! I said in anger as I transformed into my vampire form.By now, Cassius was a few places away from my sword.“You had your chance!” he said before waving me off into the air telekinetically and with a loud t

Chapter 29Cassius Rein ~“Keep your eyes peeled. The Tree of Magic should be right below this hill.” I said coming out of the portal. “Oh no! Not them again! How could they have known that I was coming?” I exclaimed at the sight of the multitude of vampyres, witches, warlocks and so many other creatures that surrounded the perimeter of the tree with Frederick Claw, their king a few meters away from the tree’s only flower.“Change of plans! Now, the mission is to get to the tree of magic and get rid of the king, permanently!” I added turning to the alphas. While these lycans deal with Frederick, I will have enough time to cast a spell that will allow me to take that flower of the tree without having to pay any damn price for it. If I don’t, the trybrid child would be the least of my worries.“As you wish!” the lycan alphas replied jointly with a bow.“They may have the advanta

Chapter 28Alessia Claw ~“You mean to say that the guardians of the Tree of Magic are here in the coven?” I asked with widened eyes fixed at the maiden who just made me aware of the fact that Lora and Lara, The Divine Sisters are here to see Frederick.“Yes! They requested an audience with your brother, the king and he commanded that they be let in and welcomed.” the maiden said standing with her face bowed to the earth.“Where are they all now?” I asked as I closed all the spell-books that surrounded me and rising to my feet.“Last I saw, they were in the throne room anticipating the king’s arrival.” The maiden added.“You are dismissed!” I sent the maiden away and headed out to my chambers in the coven heading straight for the throne room. The Tree of Magic is back.It must be!That is the only thing that beguiles a visit from The Divine Sisters.
