Orphanage and Reasons
An hour-long drive finally led to an old orphanage built near the riverside of Rawalpindi. Uncle, Papa and the Chief were the ones visiting this place. One day had already passed, and I was really hoping for this place to help me in making my decision. Rehana and Sarah were waiting.Walking inside the huge orphanage, which comprised of a huge white building and a lush green garden, I kept a few feet behind the men and looked around at the children playing in the garden; they seemed so young and lonely. Places like these reminded me of how ungrateful I had always been. Sigh!"May I help you?" The warden now stepped forward, seeing us enter the building; she was wearing thin eye frames and looked rather old. Papa and the rest of the men had already walked away into the corridor, while I nodded.Taking a deep breath, I stepped forward and politely shook hands with the woman. "W-we are here to get information about a young boy 'Fahad' you took in a few years ago. Do you remember him?" I go

Epiphany
Standing in front of the crooked house, Usman took a deep breath and walked inside. Three days had literally passed in a blink of an eye. Usman had begun praying that the plan would work.Nervously climbing up the stairs, while flinching at every echo of our footsteps, he and Salman straightened their stance as they finally made it upstairs and noticed one room's door closed; that had to be it.Walking towards the door, Usman gulped as Salman twirled its doorknob and hesitantly pushed it open. Inside, Fahad was pacing by the room's window, with his arms folded behind his back."My daughter has made her decision," Usman announced, stepping inside the room. "It's time for you to quit your games.""Hmm..." Fahad halted, with a smirk evident in his voice. "And her decision is?""She wants your mother to live a free life.""My mother?" Fahad's mood immediately turned confused. "How does she know about my mother.?""She met her in the forest.," Usman replied in a chipped voice. "Your mother

Agony
Just as Fahad had promised, the next Sarah and Rehana were found inside the house. They were sitting in the main lounge. I rushed up to them while Papa, Uncle Salman and Rehana waited impatiently outside."No.." She began shaking on the sofa, while Sarah sat next to her, completely silent. "It was too dark..." She was whimpering. I blanched at that.
