Pearl’s POVDamilola Frederick, the one hell of a nightmare that I'll never forget in my life, I don't know why my past keep hunting me like this. I want everything to just stop.  "Pearl, look at me. What's going on?" Greg pulled me out of my daze with his question. Even if I try to explain he still won't understand. "Peach?, I need to call her. I need her right now, she's the only person I can talk to……" Greg didn't allow me to finish my statement before he held my shoulder and looked into my eyes.  "Calm down, I'll call her. Okay?. She'll be Here very soon" He assured me and not Kong after that he made a phone call to Peach.  "She's on her way" He informed me after he dropped the call. He then took a seat beside me on my bed before he held my hand in his huge hand. I didn't have s choice that to forvefully remove my hand from his. He only smiled at my action.  

CRANKYPearl’s POV"Dami, what are you doing here?" I asked out of fear with my eyes fixed on the knife that he was holding "I'm here to complete an unfinished work, and I need to do it really fast. It's been five years now and it's taking too long" He dropped the knife on the dining table and start to walk towards me while I head straight for the door.  As my hand was just an inch away from opening the door and dashing out of the house. Dami caught me by my shoulder and forced me to turn to him.  "Do you know what my unfinished business is?, or should I say who?" He asked looking down at me before he collected my phone from me and smashed it against the wall while I looked at him and was shaking with fear.  "We don't always get what we want, Dami" "I was a bet to you Pearl Adams, I loved you with everything in me and all I was to you was a bet.

GREG'S POV "It is not this type of chance that I wanted, dad. You made me live in guilt for years. I hated myself and you knew the truth" After Peach had told me the truth about Pearl, I called my mother to ask her about what I had heard but only for the woman to tell me she was in Texas. Texas, yet still using her Nigeria number. I don't get how that could possibly happen. She should have just told me she wants to avoid the question instead of lying.
