Todd was admitted in that small hospital out of town, he was safe because no one knew who he was or what he had done. He closed his eyes to sleep as the accident he had with the pregnant woman flashed before his eyes.“He arrived at the club with his friends and their girlfriends. He has one who never wanted commitment, just have fun and dump them. That was the motto for his chronic womanizing ways. He wasn't at fault in any way, he was always pampered because he was the last child of his parents, any time he did something wrong, he wasn't scolded. Just the normal, don't do that again, it's not good. Then he was free to go. He always got what he wanted, if he didn't, he was going to take it by force. That's how he grew up. They were regular customers at Plot 7 nightclub at Nyaniba estate, Labone, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Todd and his squad entered and as usual ordered whole lotta booze and meat, while some of them went dancing. Todd, as usual, looked through the crowd for

“This is beautiful." Serwaa gushed over Aku's ring.“Thank you Serwaa, is your tummy bloated or it's what I'm thinking?" She asked.“I'm not bloated and I don't know what you're thinking either." She played dumb.“Wo nyem anaa (Are you pregnant)?" She voiced out her thoughts.“Yes, I'm two months gone." She boasted. Leo and herself had done the legal and necessary arrangements for the adoption of the one-week-old baby.“Congratulations!" She said genuinely happy for her friend.“Thank you, dear, so any preparations for the wedding?" She asked Aku.“Nope, I studied event planning in school, so I can do that myself." She smirked.“That's good, it would save a whole lotta cost.". Serwaa said. Since both of them had retired from the slaying business, Yaa and Maabena were the ones in charge.“Its time I build my family just as you're doing.

Akosua was being discharged from the hospital that day. Kwame was coming to take her to her house. He had told her his plans of getting rid of Eleanor, and until she was out of his house she had to stay with Maakua at her house and he promised to come see them every other day. “Da, I hope you stick to your promise, no browning(disappointment)," Maakua added as he initiated a curve. “I would stick to my promise dear, no fake promises, I've come to my senses." He told her. “It's good you did." She said earning a knock from her mother. “Ajeei(Ouch) Ma," She whined. “Fiii, fiii, is that how to talk to your father?" She asked. “Da I'm sorry." She pouted. “Its fine dear." He chuckled, forcing himself not to laugh. “Thanks for dropping us home and thanks for everything," Akosua said. “No need to thank me, I'm trying to make things right. I've regretted everything I did. I hope you find it deep within to forgive me." He pleaded. “Its fine Kwame, I've forgiven you already." She smile

“Hey," Kwame said as Akosua opened the door for him. “Hi, good morning" She responded ushering him inside. “Da!" Maakua called as she hugged her dad. It was a Saturday morning and he decided to come to check on them after his morning run. “Sweety, ɛtɛsen( How are you)?" He asked his daughter. Akosua was still sleepy so she retired back to bed leaving her husband and daughter to bond. “I'm fine Daddy." She answered. “Hey, let's do something for mom, she seems tired," Kwame suggested. “She stressed herself too much yesterday, that's why," Maakua confessed. Kwame and Maakua entered the kitchen to prepare food for Akosua. Eleanor checked the news headlines and once again she was on the front page. The caption read, " Eleanor Quansah is a gold digger" It further said: Eleanor found her way into Tullow Oil not to work but have an agenda of her own. She had an agenda before applying for a position at Tullow Oil, you want to know what her agenda was? Well, she had planned to seduce t

“Morning ɔdɔ(Morning love)" Kwame greeted Akosua who lay beside him peacefully. He had spent the night with her when he came visiting the previous day. They were sneaking around like two teenagers in love. “Hey, how was your night?" She lay smiling at her. “It was wonderful, I enjoyed you." He added moving close to kiss her as she moved her head. “Morning breathe." She added as she walked towards the bathroom to brush her teeth. It read 4:30 am. He had to prepare for work and drop Maakua at school. Even though she was well, the school had given her a two week grace period before she resumed. Akosua came out of the bathroom and headed to Maakua's room. She would sleep the whole day if she didn't wake her up. “Maakua" Akosua called knocking on the door as she opened it. She had just emerged from the shower when she heard her mother's knock on the door. “Good morning, darling you don't look good." She said to her. “I think I've started my menses, I saw blood in my underwear when I
