Akosua was being discharged from the hospital that day. Kwame was coming to take her to her house. He had told her his plans of getting rid of Eleanor, and until she was out of his house she had to stay with Maakua at her house and he promised to come see them every other day.

“Da, I hope you stick to your promise, no browning(disappointment)," Maakua added as he initiated a curve.

“I would stick to my promise dear, no fake promises, I've come to my senses." He told her.

“It's good you did." She said earning a knock from her mother.

“Ajeei(Ouch) Ma," She whined.

“Fiii, fiii, is that how to talk to your father?" She asked.

“Da I'm sorry." She pouted.

“Its fine dear." He chuckled, forcing himself not to laugh.

“Thanks for dropping us home and thanks for everything," Akosua said.

“No need to thank me, I'm trying to make things right. I've regretted everything I did. I hope you find it deep within to forgive me." He pleaded.

“Its fine Kwame, I've forgiven you already." She smile
