Scarlett Opriyen
Scarlett Opriyen was the daughter of Viscount Opriyen and around the age of seventeen. She was in the same year as Clayton. Scarlett wasn't an important character in the novel and only once her talent for jewellery designing was mentioned in the novel.  There were huge debts on her family, and acquired from her mother, she had a talent in this field. Later, she used this skill of hers in order to make a living and support her family. Seraphine of course couldn't judge her skills currently, and it wasn't even praised that many times in the novel. Seraphine specifically recalled Scarlett becoming a renowned jeweller.  This was all. The reason Scarlett was mentioned in the novel in the first place was due to her crush on Clayton. After Clayton saving her from a dangerous incident, Scarlett bore feelings for Clayton. Once Scarlett was self-sufficient, s

Unfortunately, for Seraphine, her wish of standing by the wall and spending time on her own couldn't be fulfilled. Throughout the entire time, she has people coming over to talk to her. It didn't take long for Seraphine to get separated from Kayden and mingle with the ladies. At least none of the ladies took initiative to be rude to her. Even though their conversation was something Seraphine had hard time keeping up with, she was still able to somehow maintain the pace, and although public opinion didn't matter to her, she didn't want to come off as ignorant. Talking with these ladies, Seraphine attempted her best to pay concentration and learn of recent trends in the capital. The target of shops were these young ladies, and Seraphine considered this to be a consumer survey. What Seraphine appreciated was, instead of mocking her, they explained what she wanted to learn. As for using this matter to la

Bashful
Seraphine instantly placed the book on the table beside her and then proceeded to clutching the hand of the girl in front of her. Her enthusiasm was present in her eyes. "You are Scarlett Opriyen, right?" Seraphine questioned. Her excitement caught Opriyen off guard, and seeing her widened eyes, Seraphine understood she was being too straightforward. Clearing her throat, Seraphine released the girl's hand, knowing her act was inappropriate. "Yes, I am." Scarlett looked at Seraphine cautiously. From the novel, Seraphine knew Scarlett had a closed off and awkward personality, and this was why she came off as cold to many. Probably because of the burdens she had to carry from young age, Scarlett came off as reticent and intimidating to many. "Lady Scarlett, I apologize for coming off as rude, but I have been wanting to meet you for so long," Seraph

Plastic friendship
"How did everything go, Lady Seraphine?" Betty questioned once Seraphine had stepped into her room. "Well, even though I was rude, Lady Scarlett did not seem to hate me. She was shy and appeared to be intimidated by me the whole time. Do I come off as too strong?" Seraphine expressed, sitting in front of the mirror. Betty began to undo her hair and stated, "Well, Lady Seraphine, you can be quite forceful when you are persistent. Given that Lady Scarlett doesn't know you and your status, it's understandable if she was daunted." "Should I have taken a softer approach? That won't be possible though; it would take too much time," Seraphine vocalised. "Isn't it fine as long as the Lady doesn't mind it?" Betty pointed out. "Is that so? I still feel bad. How about I send some gifts to Viscount Opriyen's house as present?" Seraphine suggested. "Indeed, that would be

Adorable personality
"Scarlett, there is something for you." Hearing her mother, Scarlett stepped out of her room in order to see what the matter was. As the mother stood in the hallway, there were couple of men standing in front of her, and they seemed to be carrying something. Creases appeared between both of her eyebrows as she made her way over. Then, scrutinizing these men, she spoke up, "What's the matter?"  "Are you Lady Scarlett Opriyen?" the man standing in front questioned. Warily staring at the men, Scarlett answered, "Yes, I am. What do you want with me?" "These are gifts from Vougeious house. Do you mind if we put them down?" the man expressed. Although Scarlett was shocked and was taking a while to process the situation, she noticed that these boxes might be heavy for the men. This was why she absentmindedly responded, "Yes, just keep it do

Tolerant
Grace, Isabella, and Angelina were all seated beside her. Although they appeared to be smiling, Seraphine was able to notice the nervousness they emitted. It was understandable for them to feel this way. "Don't hold yourself back," Seraphine expressed, "You ladies can start eating. The taste won't disappoint you." Seraphine did not feel uncomfortable at the situation. Although it was strange to put it this way, she was fond of the control she had over the situation. "The other day you three seemed to be really fond of dresses made by Mia Heinsun," Seraphine expressed. Angelina appeared to be the most outgoing one amongst them and spoke out, "Yes, Lady Seraphine. Anyone would be fond of clothes from Mia Heinsun." Then, the corner of Seraphine's lips curved upwards, and she expressed, "I get it. On the occasion that you have arrived at my place for the first time, I decided to gift

Cupid
Her attitude caused Kayden to let out a chuckle. In fact, a part of him did feel happy seeing her like this because this clearly showed concern towards him. Nonetheless, he did not let that show on his face as he patted her head and expressed, "Silly, seeing you happy like this makes me feel the same." "Is that so?" Kayden nodded. Seraphine did not argue against that because she somewhat related to it. When the person she cared for was joyful, she felt emotions akin to that as well.  In fact, she was content to learn Kayden's emotions were related to her, and it was same for her as well. "When it comes to others, I wouldn't be this considerate when speaking, and I don't know if this would hurt your self-esteem. However, if you do need any help, do seek me out. I know you are being reserved and don't want to trouble me, thinking that

Seraphine scrunched up her nose at him and sarcastically spoke out, "Very funny, Your Highness." That's when, an idea came at Seraphine's mind, and a glint appeared in her eyes as she questioned, "Are you free right now, Your highness?" "Hmm," he answered, feigning to think for a while prior to speaking out, "Depends. Why? Are you planning to ask me out?" Seraphine nodded. "Exactly! Do you want to accompany me?" Alexandar was caught off guard. Previously, Seraphine was somewhat hostile and on guard around him, but seeing her welcoming state now, he did not know how to feel about it. However, it did please him to know she did not loathe his presence. "For a beautiful Lady as yourself, of course, I do have time," he said. His flirtatious manner did amuse Seraphine, and she stated, "Well then, let's do something fun if you are not opposed to

Almost killed again
The curiosity was truly bothering. Seraphine really couldn't recall how she or the original Seraphine ended up provoking this mad lady. Even in the novel, this was kept a secret. For a powerful mage to come and pretend to be her friend, and then attack her— there must be a huge reason behind it. When reading a novel, it did make sense for characters to hate the female lead for no reason, but in reality, that wasn't often the case, especially when the person involved was a powerful mage. If Winter wanted to kill her, she could easily do it. Why would she want to run around in circles and play these games? Seraphine was truthfully confused. Although Seraphine wanted answers, she wasn't going to risk her life for it. Seeing how Winter was distracted by her question, Seraphine was about to jump down from the window. However, before Seraphine was able to leave through the window

Fierce stare
"You don't seem shaken up, do you?" Clayton raised one of his eyebrows. Even Clayton would have anxiety inside him if he knew a mage was after him yet Seraphine remained calm— that too the mage after her was a powerful one. It wasn't that Seraphine was calm. She was really afraid of Winter in the beginning, enough to have a mental breakdown, and probably because of the knowing the novel as well, she eventually adjusted. That's why, she was able to maintain her composure.  "That's because I have a sense of security due to the person who rescued me," Seraphine answered. "Who saved you?" Clayton questioned. If the other party was able to face off a mage, he ought to be strong. "Too bad, I can't disclose his identity, but don't worry, he promised to protect me although he is forced to do it. Nonetheless, he is extremely reliable and stron
