21Mrs. Brown walked inside the main doors with a small smile placed on her mouth. She had Milan in her arms who was still sobbing a little bit. Whatever that happened at the house needed to be discussed, but at the moment she could not do anything except for forcing her lips into a grin and pretending as though everything was okay with her. “Pardon me, just got busy with some work at home. I hope I didn’t make any of you wait,” she spoke with half hearted expressions. “I am sorry if I did so”  She had just advanced near the couch when Luna stood up, “Oh no, you are not. We just gathered in here. Mr. Stark is on his way to here.” She informed, progressing her walk toward her until her optics noticed Milan.  Milan was sobbing across her mother’s collarbone, with audible sobbing that the Alpha and her husband including Luna moved their confused eyes from her

 23"He is really handsome! You will like him too." His eyes found her emotionless facade with a grin creeping on his mouth. Reyne cannot deny that there was pure joy on his cheeks. The unknown glint of hope in his shimmering eyes make her believe that he was happy just by the thought of having his daughter mated to a decent guy. By the looks, Reyne knew, her father did not mean anything about the physical appearance. All that his words wanted to convey about the Gamma's offspring was that she would be happy with him. Reyne lowered her eyes as she controlled her increasing sorrow. Last night she got happy when he allowed her to stay home rather than joining him to the gathering. But now this! It was like life was playing a dirty revenge game with her. It neither wanted her to experience happiness nor be sad for more than a while. Happiness and sadness came one by one, and in line, for her.&nbs

25 Reyne got down of the cab across the big, eye dropping school, with an open mouth. Her lashes never blinked right after exiting the vehicle. She paid the driver, failing to notice his thank you, and proceeded toward the big gate that was closed.

Damned old freaking bastard!"  Nails biting into his own palms, Zander entered through the main door over his parents while they were having food, cursing and gritting his jaw. It seemed they had just begun as the table was still untouched and the plates before the three members were shining clean.  They had their eyes watching Zander from head to toe not after looking at the clock with a big pendulum swinging effortlessly. One. Two. Three. And there it rang after both the hands pointed at the last number on the clock, twelve.  "Finally, your brat is here. Honey, I am not going to say anything so better you ask him where was he all this while and why is he late?"  "Mummy, Zany came home."  Mrs. Brown heaved a rough breath as her fingers clenched and released, then again clenched and released as she sat

    29 In the morning,   Reyne awoke stretching her arms. Yawning a breath with the sundial rays of the sun falling inside, she blinked her eyes. The other day was cool. Honestly. She was not expecting to spend such a good period with Brandon, exploring the lovely lands of this pack house.    They saw the museum of the pack storing all the weapons and artifacts of the old alphas of this pack, their families, mates and enemies whom they fought and vanquished. He told her about Alpha Shine I that placed the base of this pack and brought it to life, and on the map.    Besides that, she will have to agree he is the nicest guy she met in her life. Although she encountered several official males' sons, Brandon stood out as an exception. He was really nice. A guy with a golden heart. She loved him. Oh no no, not in the sense as a mate but as a friend. And that is because Brandon and s
