I was about to sink deeper in confusion when the door of my room abruptly opened and a loud growl boomed in the background causing me to freeze to my place…. My mind goes completely blank as I witness the panic expressions showcasing on Rhy's face. She ran inside my room and closed the door behind her. I'm not understanding what is going on here anymore as the sound from downstairs is getting higher. Sounds of grunts and growls are getting closer second by second. Was I right about the burglars? Are there thieves who broke into the house? But what's not making sense is Rhy's behavior. The Ryn I knew was brave but here she was hugging me close to her shaking body. Amber P. O. V After saving the world from World War 3, I was rewarded with delicious cuisine which was made by Ryn's mother. She invited us to have dinner with her family, actually, she particularly invited me as she was afraid of Alex and trying to hide it pretty well.  I didn't know the reason behind it, but something seems to be wrong here. Lynn P. O. V Till now things are going as planned. If everything goes as we wanted, it's not far when I would be free of her debt. And don't have to be part of anyone's twisty games.
