“Come on, you haven’t seen me in nearly a month and instead of jumping into my arms, you are asking what I am doing here?” Craig asked.“To hell with you,” Sasha replied with sarcasm.“Tsk tsk tsk,” He clicked his tongue continuously, “don’t be like that beautiful. You know, I must say I’m surprise that you are back here. What happened, he came back and he kicked you out? So much for loving you for fourteen years,” he chuckled.“Michael didn’t kick me out I left you piss of trash,” she spat out.“Watch your language,” he threatened, “anyway, did he tell you? Michael entered the bedroom to hear the sound of running water, the bathroom door was opened and so was the glass, he could see Sasha scrubbing her body as if to scrub off tonight’s incident. He stood beside the door watching her, he wanted to go to her and wrap her in his arms, he wanted to kiss her hair and tell her that everything was going to be okay and that she didn’t need to hurt her skin to wipe away anything. He wanted to tell her that no policeman or woman is going to take her to jail while he is alive, he wanted to comfort her and say that he would do anything to protect her, anything to keep her safe. He wanted to say so many things but at the end he walked into the walk-in closet, fetched out his pajamas and left the room.He made his way to the guest’s room, took a shower, changed into his pajamas and walked down the stairs to his study where he poured himself a glass of Robert Mondavi. He sat on his chair and closed his eyes, series of sighs lef

Chapter two
Michael drove into his property and parked in front of his garage, not in the mood of driving in. He watched from his rearview mirror how the automatic gate closes and sighed. It was such a tiring day at work and he could feel his head exploding with the news Gary just provided him with and the question was still eating him up, who is responsible, who could it be? He groaned softly and ran his fingers in his head tiredly before reaching for his briefcase and stepping down from the car. He locked the car with the remote and walked to the front porch, climbing up the stairs tiredly. In front of his front door, he heaved a deep sigh and put on a smiling face for his family before pushing open the door to see his daughter running up the stairs and turned at the sound of the door opening.“Daddy’s home,” Sapphire shouted running back down the stairs and Michael placed his briefcase on the floor and squatted down with his arms open wide for her to run into. He picked her up with a little la
