The bar resembled those old bars you see in movies, where big bikers boisterously laughed and played pool while drinking beer. Scantily dressed girls in short shorts and checked shirts tied at their stomachs walked around the place with beers. A few men without tattoos and leather jackets idly stood around in their corners, drinking beers and letting loose.

Amelia had left in the morning when an old and rusted red pick-up truck stopped outside the yard. She gave her goodbyes and left, leaving Lexy and I alone. Lexy went on to get ready for work and I fetched my guitar case and Romeo. I was pretty freaked out by my encounter with that stranger from the gas station. It was obvious that he had to have been following me because what are the chances that we would meet again? And what are the chances that he knew my name and last name? It was just really creepy. S
