Nate's POV" Yo man! Are you seeing this?!" Zach said excitedly as he walked to me holding can drinks. " The crowd is wild. Tory's a fucking genius" Jake said from behind Zach and then stood in front of me, Victor did the same. I had apologized to them - in my own way and invited them to my stepdad's funeral but they didn't show up. Since then they've been avoiding me." So you're talking to me now?" " Nate, look, we're sorry. Rex somehow convinced us not to go but recently, we've been thinking about it and it was wrong of us. You've changed - we can see that" Jake said." Don't tempt me, I'm still a jerk." I said drinking the soda." Sure, but you're better than before and we can work with that," Victor said." What we can't work with is Rex's sudden mean behavior. He's agitated half the time and we think he's into some shady deal"My b

Tory's POV" Rya, I'm not going to ask if you're okay because I know you're not," he said softly and I stopped crying so I could blow my nose in the toilet paper." Go away!" I said after blowing my nose."I couldn't tell you myself," he said weakly." What?"" I knew about Rex and Isabella" Rage filled me as he said those words, I opened the stall and came out glaring at him. He seemed startled by how I looked but I didn't care." Why didn't you tell me?! How could you keep that from me? How could you!"" Because I didn't want to be the one to cause you pain. The kind of pain you're feeling right now - I didn't want to be the one to instill it."I looked at him and saw so much emotion in his eyes, he wasn't lying. I knew that me saying he only brought me pain hurt him a lot and I immediately understood why he didn't tell me.

Tory's POVI stared at Nate completely thrown by his question while Nate stood there waiting expectantly for my answer - his eyes drifting to my lips once or twice." Please Rya" he begged again." If I let you, you'll leave me alone?" I asked, my eyes drifting to his lips as he licked them in anticipation. Even I thought about it for a split second but it was just too tempting." I'll leave you alone, you'll never have me in your sight." He assured and I sighed and I closed my eyes and opened them. The intensity in his eyes increased and I feared that if Nate and I kissed, I wouldn't be able to control myself but it is a risk I'm willing to take. I'll stop him if things get too heated and he'll leave me alone. "Fine, you can-" Before the words were out of my mouth, Nate crashed his lips unto mine passionately, it happened so fast and as he kissed

Tory's POVI woke up the next morning to see Nate's perfectly happy and handsome face as he slept like a child. Yesterday was amazing, I lost count of how many times Nate and I had sex literally everywhere in my room. How we talked and played games and then slept all through the night - with Nate waking me up at one point in time for yet another round of steamy sex. It was perfect, but...too good to be true. I think that I'm going to fall in love with Nate and he with me but... I'm not ready to fall so deep in love that when he eventually breaks my heart, I'll end up being pathetic - quite like how Rex made me feel. I missed out on the fundraiser, I wouldn't have if I'd been strong enough to handle Rex's news. I needed to go back to my original plan for my good." Wake up Nate," I said as he started to open his bright green eyes and then he squinted at the bright light seeping through my room from the wi

Tory's POVIt's been a week and four days since Nate and I last spoke - yeah, I've been counting. Sure, I've been seeing him at school, nearly every day. As for Rex, he shows up at school whenever he likes smirking at me every chance he gets. Looking back at it now, I understood why I fell in love with him. He was perfect, he was handsome, sexy, popular and a nice guy, Rex had no bad side known to me and I really believed that he didn't have a bad side. Now, I know what he is and whenever I think about how we kissed or had sex, I see now that he was just using me, I was a means to an end. It was our last day of continuous assessments and I hadn't aced my exam today. I was avoiding Rex, he's been threatening me for some unknown reason. He keeps dragging me inside empty classes, telling me not to screw his plan up, and before I get the chance to ask him what he means he just da

Tory's POVI swallowed hard at the cold way Nate had spoken to me. What did I expect? Flowers and kisses?I sighed as I made my way to Rachel. " If you don't give me a fucking explanation as to why you pulled that fucking prank on me, I'm going to kill you right now" I spat and the entire room went silent. Yeah, it's like that when I'm mad. " T-tory, it was a game. Okay?"" You texted me that my sister was having an asthma attack! Who invented that game Rachel?"" That's what you wrote?!" She whispered to Zach and he cringed as Joanne sat on his thigh. " YOU TYPED THIS?" I asked almost losing my mind to the extent of his foolishness. " It was a game okay? I didn't even know who's phone it was." He said, visibly shocked by my outburst." What kind of game is that?"" It was Jake's idea!" They

Tory's POV Today is a big day. Brian's family will be coming over to our house for lunch and my mom was very ready to ensure that everything was " above their proud standards" as she put it. I had already done my part in assisting my mom with the table setting - which she chose to handle by herself. Now, she's telling my sisters and I how to " behave". " This is just outrageous mom. You expect me to act like I'm some Barbie princess just because Brian's parents are British? They're not even royalty!" Toni whined. " What's the point of meeting us if we have to pretend to be them?" I whined. " Great point Tory!" Toni said, nodding her head vigorously while Tia just smiled. " Enough! Whatever, be yourselves but don't embarrass me. I'm not going to let them feel like they're helping us by marrying us - neither will I let them think they're bette

Tory's POVThankfully, detective Mason got back before we left for prom. He just stood by my mom, looking at her with a nervous look on his face as she sat on the couch sipping wine. I was hiding by the stairs as I watched them." Valora"" Don't Mason, just- don't."" What was I supposed to do? I'm sorry I ruined your lunch with your in-laws to be but... I had to."" Just tell me what you found out." Mom said irritably." Brian's father owes Big D, apparently Mr. Tremblay isn't just some wealthy businessman, he has men who do dirty work for Big D, in order words he trains boys to become assassins for Big D's use."My mom dropped her wine glass and sat up on the chair. " I'm gonna need you to sit down Mason."" Fine" Mason said sitting down. " Go on"" One day, Mr. Tremblay thought to be

Tory's POV" Okay, now look in the mirror," my mom said and I turned my chair around. " Oh my goodness" " Close enough," Toni said with a smirk, her make up was done first and she looked amazing. Though she didn't want her hair curled up so she looked different, she still looked beautiful. She was wearing a long, black gown with silver patters and a silver necklace and earrings to match. She was perfect. " Nate's gonna give the perfect word that describes you," Tia said as she sat on my bed and carefully touched my hair. " I'll be downstairs" " Okay Mom" we chorused." Tia, why don't you wanna come with us for prom?" Toni said " Because I can't. My stomach's outing my pregnancy, marriage is what's on my mind now. Besides, I already did prom in the junior year so..."" You know, I feel you'll win this year - prom Queen."

Tory's POVI looked at myself in the mirror and was grateful that mom put in my purse lip gloss and powder. Otherwise, I don't know what I would've done about my face that Nate hadn't spared from scattering kisses all over during our lovemaking." You don't need it, I told you"" Nate just because you don't see my flaws doesn't mean that other people miss it as well."" You have no flaws," he said with a smile as he used his hand to keep his hair slicked back before he got down from the car and went around to get the door for me. " Let's get this over with shall we?" He said as he offered me his hand and I took it as I got out of the car. " We're kinda late."" Well, that's not entirely my fault. You were the one taking your precious time sleeping with me ."" Let's go already okay?" I said, blushing as I remembered how I didn't want us
