Semua Bab Freed: Bab 11 - Bab 20

I scrunched my hand into my hair in frustration. Last night was possibly one of the worst nights I’ve had in a while. My entire body felt like it was on fire and the reminder of Cassius's pissed off look burned into my mind. The bags under my eyes showed the lack of sleep as I stood up on shaky legs and walked towards the bathroom.Maybe a shower would help.I pulled off my night clothes and turned on the water, running my hand under the pellets of water to heck the temperature. Once it was right, I walked into the shower and began washing off everything of last night. After I was finished, I hopped out while wrapping the towel tightly around me and strode into the room. The air instantly dropped ten degrees as the cool air hit my bare legs and arms, I made my way to the closet and rummaged through until I found something I could train in today.A knock on the door had me throwing the clothes on, and after I was decent, I shouted towards the

The sleep filled night I was anticipating for escaped me altogether. I sat awake on my bed, clasping the pillow into me as I looked out of the balcony doors. The morning sun was rising, vivid crimson and orange rays passed through my room and danced across my bedsheets. The maid had showed up and informed me that the Prince requested my presence on the training grounds, but I had ignored the request. For the past hour, I was contemplating on how I was supposed to get close to the Prince and finish the plan when Jasmine sat in the way.  If it were all about the plan, I would've gotten out of bed and went to train with the prince himself. I would've taken that opportunity to get to know him a bit more. But was it all about the plan? That… That was an excellent question. A question that I wasn’t sure I wanted to know the answer to. Last night when he came so close to kissing me I didn’t expect myself to want him to, I expected myself to coil

Rhyland’s POV“What the hell, Raven?!”Her eyes snapped up to Cassius and for a split second, she looked completely lost.“I-, wait… How did I end up out here?” Her eyes fogged over with confusion before bolting open wide as a sharp intake of air entered her lungs.“Eladia! Wait, where’s Eladia?!” She shouted, looking around frantically. I took a small stepped towards her, but before I reached her, Cassius stepped in front of me and stopped me in my tracks. He look towards me with a tense jaw.“You’ve done enough. I think you should go.” His eyes were hardened when he looked at me and I could see pure hatred, for what reason I had no clue. He should be thanking me for stopping his sister before things really got out of hand. “Raven, how are you feeling?” I asked, and she just rubbed her temples while wincing.“I- I don’t feel right…” she said groggily, and that’s when Jasmine’s cries and shouts cut through th

Rhyland’s POV I stood in front of my father, the golden crown slightly tilted on his head as his full gray hair lifted it.“You think you’re smart, boy?” He growled and by the way, his eyes glossed and his cheeks burned red I could tell he had been drinking.“You’re drunk father, and I will not stand around and talk to a man that can’t even sit up straight.”“Shut it!” He growled, his voice booming through the room.I’ll admit, he had quite the nerve to yell at me in this state of mind.“What is it that you wish from me, or was my presence just for mere amusement.” I evened out and looked into his cold eyes that held the color of the ocean's depth in them."You, the only mind manipulater within millions of miles from this kingdom, thought I wouldn’t be able to tell from the gleam in Princess Jasmine’s eyes that you had a part in her

Raven’s POVThe sun had set, and I took comfort on my bed after a warm shower. I leaned back onto the pillows in thought, but something told me I shouldn’t worry too much about it.I just can’t help it.What if everything I’ve imagined in my head is what I’ll come to discover?Bright colors, people laughing and making their way down the streets.But... what if it isn’t?My stomach was in knots and I still did not know when she wanted to go. It could be next week or two months from now, I hadn’t really stayed for the details because I wanted to find Rhyland.I wanted to ask if his father had declined the request like I had assumed he would, like I hoped he would. He didn’t.But for some reason, the words coming from Rhyland’s mouth made the reality of it less scary…“Knock knock, little sis.” Cassius shouted through the door as he kno
