Chapter Sixteen
Rhyland’s POV
“What the hell, Raven?!”
Her eyes snapped up to Cassius and for a split second, she looked completely lost.
“I-, wait… How did I end up out here?” Her eyes fogged over with confusion before bolting open wide as a sharp intake of air entered her lungs.
“Eladia! Wait, where’s Eladia?!” She shouted, looking around frantically. I took a small stepped towards her, but before I reached her, Cassius stepped in front of me and stopped me in my tracks. He look towards me with a tense jaw.
“You’ve done enough. I think you should go.” His eyes were hardened when he looked at me and I could see pure hatred, for what reason I had no clue. He should be thanking me for stopping his sister before things really got out of hand.
