Chapter Sixty: Opaque
Lyanna Stuart I recklessly walked right into the fairies' trap. As soon as I caught a glimpse of Clarisse's shadows, I just couldn't help it. My feet just started moving- running on their own. Call it instinct or whatever but I knew I had to save Clarisse and the sight of her broke my heart. I didn't even look back at Tate and everyone else. My eyes were fixated on my little sister seeing her tied down forcibly and absorbing that huge mass of blue flame that engulfed her tiny frail body. It broke my heart because I was the reason behind all this. I ran away from this realm with no regard that they could come after those closest to me. I thought if I stayed away from her, she'd be safe. I was so wrong.  And now, I am stuck here. I realized it too late and as I looked back to call Tate and the others, the door that I went through,

Chapter Sixty One: Remaining pieces
Arthur Langdon It's been hours and I still haven't heard from Tate nor from my brother JD. I kept pacing back and forth trying to quiet my anxious thoughts. I flown to follow JD but he stopped me saying that it's too reckless to reveal that I'm still alive. As long as I'm alive, I'm a threat since the prophecy told us that I'm deemed to destroy worlds.  Ah crap. I can't sit still like this. I saw how weak Tate became earlier and he said it's because the barrier he put to protect Lyanna is using his own human soul as fuel and if this keeps up, the barrier won't be able to protect her anymore. We have to hurry and I'm just waiting here.  My thoughts were cut off as I heard somehting in the bush, my dragon senses are sharp,  I immediately turned around and glared as I said in a sharp tone, "Who's out there?"

Chapter Sixty Two: Raya
-------------- Past, 10:14 am, Forest     Raya Stuart   I closed my eyes and breathed in the woody morning as I draw my arrow. My heart skips a beat as I release the arrow, its feather slightly scratching my face. I opened my eyes with a satisfied smile and remarked, "Bullseye."   My arrow had hit its mark precisely and 20 times in a row.   Jason is relaxing by the trees behind me and snickers, "Okay show off, can we go now?"     "What's the rush, Jason? If we go back to the witches, they're going to force me into training the blue flame anyways." I groaned, "This... hunting is much more freeing than their load of crap-"     Jason immediately came down from the tree, he unexpectedly wrapped his hands around my mouth. He whispered, "You shouldn't say things like tha

Chapter Sixty Three: Clarity
Lyanna Stuart   I couldn't believe my eyes but it's really Raya standing in front of me. All I could mutter was her name and in disbelief, I repeated my question, "Are you really... Raya?"   Raya looked at me with a smile and nodded, "Indeed I am."     "What are you doing here?" I looked around but the surrounding is still ghostly white, I asked, "Am I dead? Is that why I can see you?"     "Walk with me, Lyanna." Raya reached out for my hand and I hesitantly grabbed hers, we walked around the white walls and pavements, there was really nothing to see but for some reason, Raya kept walking anyway.   She broke the silence finally and said, "How was your human life? I... must say I envy you. You had a shot at the human life I desperately wanted."     I looked above and remembered about Tate and all my frien

Chapter Sixty Four: Stage
----------------A few moments before breaking into the fairies' lair---------------- Arthur LangdonAs impatient as we all are, Tate took it up a notch as he actually activated an old pentagram drawn at the land where the fairies constructed their lair. This is indeed a demon's turf. I asked, "How come none of the other creatures knew about this? The fairies certainly aren't that stupid to choose a demon's turf as their lair." Tate cockily replied, "They didn't know. It's one of my father's best work. Satan secretly lured them into using this land as their lair. He intentionally used this land for when the time comes that the fairies tried to double cross us." "I must say, your race has always been kind of a jerk but this is cool." JD remarked  "Oh, do praise us more." Tate joked around but it's obvious how he's barely ho

Chapter Sixty Six: Impasto pt.2
Tate Glassglow Just when I felt like giving up, I saw Lyanna and Arthur rushed towards my side but Arthur wasn't able to enter the fairy queen's barrier beause he's a dragon. However, Lyanna easily entered the barrier, she was crying her eyes out as she saw me, she hugged me, "Tate, don't leave me, okay? You're okay. We're going to be okay."   "Ah... this must be what heaven feels like." I muttered with my eyes closed. It feels very tempting to just rest there without any care in the world. I wanted to escape it as badly as Lyanna did.   I saw a glimpse of Lyanna's wrist. She wasn't the one binded to the fairy queen.   Thank goodness.   I said, "I'm glad."     "Tate! Wake up." Lyanna was crying, "Tate, come on, get up, you're okay... right? My soul is in contract, you would never leave. That was our contract in exchange of my soul, right?"

Chapter Sixty Seven: Dynamic
Lyanna Stuart I was helpless. I couldn't move, tell me, how could I possibly do anything- it's my sister I'm up against and right now, she's being controlled by the blue flame. She wouldn't stop until I die or she does.   How do I... do this?   I hated it. I hated feeling this way. What was the point? Why should it be me? I'm contemplating on everything and I know I shouldn't because the longer I stall, the longer Clarisse bring destruction everywhere. But how could I possibly decide?  If someone else were to decide, what would they have chosen?   I felt so lost.   The demons were helplessly retreating back to hell and the fairies were dominating. Maybe all this was futile effort after all. Maybe i

Chapter Sixty Eight: Movements
Lyanna Stuart I manifested my blue flame into lightning- as a balance type, I am able to amplify my flames into lightning but at the price of my stamina. It increased my speed tenfold- enough to avoid each attack Clarisse threw at me. Lightning bolts are now coming out of my entire body to keep me safe and increase my agility.   Crap, at thise rate, I would only last another hour at best!   Clarisse continued to use his manifestation of destruction- slicing and turning everything into dust. Our movements were at par with each other, I could keep up with Clarisse’s attacks as could she withstand mine.   I shoot full power lightning directly towards her direction but it doesn't faze her at all. Again, it has to be stronger! I concentrated all power to my palms giving up all intentions of protecting my body.   Clarisse saw this opportunity and laug

Chapter Sixty Nine: The color of regret
Lyanna Stuart A bright light. The smell and feeling of something burning. I slowly opened my eyes seeing a blurry image of a white ceiling light. I could hear muffled voices but it all sounded gibberish to me.  I opened my eyes completely now seeing the white tiles surrounding me, the fresh plant by the table and my hands covered with apparatus. I was confused. I groaned, "Mom?" Mom almost choked, she quickly puts out her cigarettes and opened the window to air it all out, she muttered, "Ah sh*t, I'm sorry honey, are you okay?" "What happened?" I asked, "Where am I? Where's Clarisse? Where are the rest?"  "The rest?" She looked at me raising an eyebrow in confusion, "You must be confused, the neighbors found you and Clarisse outside the forest all wounded and bruised. They said a wild animal attacked you. People said there are wild beasts lurkin
