Inside the sunny town of Rhonda, Leon stood gazing out into the river, in his hands were a handful of corn which he used in feeding the Pigeon which perched around him searching for food that only he could give them. He smiled as he watched two fights for the last meal on his hands. He liked it. He liked the way they stared at him, begging him to feed them a little more and he liked the way he always refused which was what he was doing right now as he folded the paper bag in his hands. The pigeons soon noticing their pleas fell on deaf eyes all flew off probably to search for another meal somewhere else. Leon scoffed to himself as he watched them leave one after another. The last one left and the smirk was soon replaced by anger as he kick a stone to the shore“ Stupid

Skylar's gaze shot up to stare into Leon's face, searching for signs of a joke but seeing the hard glare in there she couldn't help shivering in fear. What if he's not joking? What if he's going to force her to marry him? Will she be able to leave with him? What about Vino? And her baby, will she ever forgive her weak mother.“ No, I can't let him control me the second time. Back then I was naive and alone but now, I'm no longer alone. I have a man who loves and cares for me and a baby who deserves her father's love. I need to be strong for both of them” Skylar chanted in her mind as she watched Vino call instructions to Ty before turning to drag her out of her mother's home.Skylar paused as she looked around the room, she was scared, she couldn't possibly leave like this without leaving any clue for her mom or Vino.Leon stopped and turned to glare at Skylar in anger. He had been pulling her to himself but this stupid woman wouldn't budge“ What do you think you're doing?” He shouted

“ Anything missing, Inspector,” Mr Thompson asked the inspector as soon as they came down the stairs, having checked the rooms over and over again to be sure they hadn't missed anything.“ Nothing at the moment, Mr Thompson” Inspector Scott replied as he came to stand in front of them. He smoothed out his uniform and took the seat across from them. With his pen in his hands, he started his questioning.“ With nothing missing, this rules out the possibility of theft. Mrs Evan who do you think would kidnap your daughter” Inspector Scott asked Mrs Evans who was dabbing at the tears in her eyes and trying to think hard on his questions. With the notepad and pen in hand, the inspector was waiting for the answers but it seemed none was forthcoming. He decided to help her and give her some clues'' Maybe some friends from school or work colleagues who would wish her bad” “ I___ don't really know. My daughter never really communicated with me. And___'' She paused to sniff and dabbed at her ey

Two Months LaterFlorence, ItalyA loud bang accompanies Leon entrance into the house where he had kept Skylar, this past few months away from any prying eyes. It was the safest place for him. No one would think to look there. Considering how much his mother had always hated Skylar, he knew she would never believed he was keeping Skylar under her nose.“ Leon, please let me go. You can't keep me hostage forever” Skylar groaned as he pleaded with him. This was their usual routine anytime he came to check on her and deliver her food.“ Of course, darling. I'm letting you go today. We are going to see the sunshine” Leon's face breaks into a smile as he squat down in front of her where she was tired to the floor. He placed a tray of food in front of her, his eyes straying to her stomach. Skylar watched the smile disappear from his eyes as he clenched his fiset in anger. She shivered in fear as she remembered the first time he had found out that she was pregnant. He had beat her badly bu

She wants today to be a perfect day for everyone.“ Yes Ma'am. it just as you have requested” The servant replied with a knowing smile on his life. He wasn't annoyed with his boss's incessant questioning. He knew how thorough and perfect his boss could be.“ Thank you, Brian. You may take your leave now” Skylar nodded as she took a sip of the juice in her hands before she walked outside to the balcony and stood gazing at the sea. The refreshing breeze calm her nerves and brought peace to her mind.“ It's alright, Skylar. You are safe. Everything is fine. You are good and this is perfect '' Skylar rechanted in her mind as she struggled to calm her mind but even though it
