You know when one's circumstances test them in such a way that they are lost between being grateful for the chances they have and feeling unfortunate for the chances they lost, Aramide was at this spot. This painful point of in between, she didn't know whether to cry or tell or laugh, She felt frozen, traumatized, in shock. She hadn't uttered word since the incident.        “Momma...” Aramide whispered as her hands delicately grazed the gravestone in front of her, a tear fell and hit the pavement. “I'm sorry for not coming to see you for the past few years” She held back a sob, Before she whimpered, ”It's just been tough you know” She finished as her eye watered with tears that threatened to fall.        Aramide had just gotten back to Nigeria, Lagos State, She was currently at the Cemetery where her mother had been buried. Dared had insisted on coming along, but Aramide had shut him off, She needed to do this alone. Face all her struggles alone as she had done over the years, this was her fight, her mother, and her life       Aramide clutched the Roses in her hands tighter before she whispered “I'm sure you are looking down at me right now,” She looked up to the sky “I hope I haven't failed you as a daughter,” she said as she stared at the name inscribed

Tears didn't dare grace her eyes and memories lacked the audacity to invade her mind. Her eyes remain glued to the small frame that was laid on the bed tied to too many tubes for her to count, that tiny little frame that was her entire world.    Until now, Aramide didn't know how to pray, But today she was begging God for another chance, just one more chance, one more chance so her daughter could live.
