Dominik POVHow could I explain to Victoria what happened? I know it was my mistake, from the beginning I should have been honest and told her that I had nothing to do with the organization of this damn trip, I should have told her that I only gave the money and entrusted it to someone else. But now thanks to my lies, she thinks I organized everything, and she blames me for things going so wrong at the beginning. At this point, I'm not interested in lying to Victoria anymore, I know it will be embarrassing, but it's better to tell her the truth about the whole trip thing and apologize for it. From my own experience, I think the worst thing there is to lie to try to cover up your mistakes, in the end, you end up getting more entangled with your lies, and it will be harder and harder to be able to admit that something went wrong.Still, Victoria won't let me talk to her, just like what happened when we fought in my office and I yelled at her, she just avoids me and runs

Victoria POVI fall to my knees on the floor, practically vomiting water, feeling my body shaking and wet, still trembling with fear."Breath, take a deep breath" Dominik urges me, gently patting me on the back.Everything feels so confusing, I don't even remember well what happened. I was on the other side of the ship, and when I felt the rain coming down, I thought about going to the cafeteria to take shelter, as my bag was cloth and I had important things in there that I didn't want to get wet. So walking slowly through the crowd of other passengers, I felt from one moment to the next how the ship moved in a very abrupt way, but with nowhere to hold on to, I was practically thrown out of the ship into the air, and then fell into the water. Then I remember the most desperate feeling of my whole life, as I saw everything completely black in front of my eyes, and I felt the cold water around me pushing me and sinking me deeper and deeper.I felt that I wa

Dominik POVStanding up, I take a deep breath, feeling with great relief the cool sea breeze and the on my skin. After such a heavy rain, the sky has cleared and the warm sun is shining down on us brightly."You should stand up and come here, the sun will warm you up" I recommend to Victoria.Looking at me in the sun, Victoria hesitates a bit, but finally stands up and walks in my direction, walking close to the shore on the beach letting the sun warm our bodies."Oh wow... This feels really good, I was freezing back there" Victoria says, closing her eyes and enjoying the sun hitting her all over her face."The seawater was freezing, our clothes are wet and the cold didn't lessen in the shade, in such conditions the sun is nice"."You are right" She answers me, smiling at me.I don't quite know what I should talk to Victoria about, I know I had set out to be her friend or at least become closer to her, and I was only going to get that

Victoria POV"You should buy this, it looks phenomenal on you" I joke laughing at Dominik.Putting on a serious face, Dominik replies to me, "Yeah sure, sure if it fits me..."Smiling, I take off the hat I had put on Dominik's head, which was a strange straw hat that had the flag of this island embroidered on the top, which seemed to be some kind of souvenir or something similar from this place. We were both in the island's shopping mall, the one I had visited alone a couple of days before the boat event when I didn't buy anything because it was too expensive. But now that I'm with Dominik and with his credit cards, I think I could buy the whole mall with no problem."Sure it looks good on you, but you don't have a good enough fashion style to accept it" I refuse to return the hat to the counter where I had taken it from."Yeah, because I'm sure a hat like that would be great for me to wear to the office" Dominik jokes."It wouldn't hurt to

Dominik POVGetting out of the water, I take a deep breath, as I bring my hands to my hair and calmly pull it back. The water is at a perfect temperature and it feels great to swim in it, so I can't help but feel calm swimming in the seawater, something that had always pleased me a lot. I don't know why, but ever since I was very young when I was still in high school and practicing scuba diving with my father, I always enjoyed swimming in the sea, whether it was this way on a beach or in a wetsuit at the bottom of the sea, swimming was always something I enjoyed. However now that I am older, that I have so many responsibilities and things to do, I stopped swimming or diving, as it is a sport or a hobby that takes too much time, so the best sport I can do is to train in my personal gym at home or in a special gym near work. I think I had forgotten this nice feeling of free-swimming as the last time I swam this way, so relaxing and peaceful, was in my last year of school
