Monday morning, after we had our last breakfast in Coney Island, Daniella, Marie and I finally returned to Chicago. Although I’m in Henrietta’s costume, being an actual man, I feel responsible to escort Daniella home. Hence, Marie and I follow Daniella home from the airport. As soon as we arrive at her place, Daniella unlocks her door with her key. I am curious about the place the girl I have a crush on lives in. I wanted to take a slight glance of her apartment unit from the door, but I realized I was a step away from becoming a stalker, so I stopped. As I ain’t going to peek at her house, I guess I should go now. The girl has safely arrived at her place after all, my job here is done.

The next day back in Chicago, I woke up early because I am returning to work today. Yet before I head to Minerva, as usual I drop by at Juicy Punch to get a cup of fruit juice. I ordered a cup of Citrus-lime juice this time. After a few days on leave, Juicy Punch’s regular customers are so happy to see Daniella back. They greet her like they welcome their children home. This is amazing. She is just lovable, isn’t she? Everyone adores her so much, but not as much as I do. Can’t blame me for falling in love with her, can you? She is just the brightest, kindest, loveliest girl I’ve ever met in my life. ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨

Before my voice fades, I’ve fallen on my back. The back of my head hits on the floor, tinnitus rings in my head, my vision turns black for quite a moment. When the black veil eventually disperses, sharp white lights gradually return to my sight again. I squint my eyes as I try to adapt my sight to the lights once more. However, just as my vision recovers, two faces print into my glance, upside down. I squint harder at the face closest to me, trying to tell who this bastard that made me fall is——blonde short hair, thick eyebrows, blue eyes, thin lips, short full beard, cold expression, and he is dressed in a classic black suit with a burgundy tie… Wait, isn’t he... 

I lean on the office door taking my time to take a few deep breaths feeling relief about how close I was to the end of everything. Just then, before I walk away from the door, I hear the Peyton brothers start their conversation again. Quietly, I lean my ear on the door and start to listen. “I’m not going to persuade you politely anymore, Jamie. Come back to Peyton Group.” said Andrew. In a rather affirmative tone, Jamie replies, “And I am not going to tolerate your domineering attitude anymore, Andrew. I am not going to leave Minerva.” Andrew sneers, “What? Why are you so insistent on staying in this diminutive playhouse? Is Peyton Group isn’t good enough for you?”

Jamie didn’t prepare tonight’s blind date like Andrew thought he would. Instead, that evening after work, we gathered at the Peyton Mansion right after I picked up a few tools and materials from mine and Victor’s place respectively. In the bedroom I’ve once been in without it’s owner’s knowledge nor permission, I squat down in front of Jamie who is sitting on the soft grey carpet on the floor. He has put his fluffy headband on, holding all his hair up to the back; I hold a light purple foundation primer in my left hand, and a cosmetic sponge in my right. I gently dab the sponge on the primer and move it close to Jamie’s face. However, he suddenly stops me, “Wait.” he points at the things in my hands, “What is that?&
