My name is Stella Basile im twenty one. I once lived a normal life. A normal life for a witch that is. My family were part of a large coven in Maine. I loved it there, we all did. When I was sixteen, everything changed. My family calls it the event. I know cheesy right? It was definitley a life-changing event. One that dispersed everyone and our coven was no more. I mostly do not remember what happened and no one will talk about it.My father is the leader of our old coven and our new one. He is said to be one of the most powerful warlocks in existence. He started our coven over one hundred years ago, when he and my mother moved from Romania. I am the youngest of seven. My oldest brother Michael is in his eighties he looks super young though. Anyways we moved to the suburbs of Chicago where my parents started a new coven. Everything was completely normal in my life the summer after college graduation. I graduated early by the way. I had a job and was applying to

Stella's POVWhen we arrive to my apartment, I decide to grab some pats. I let Thomas clan up some. He looks over at me with his dark eyes. "I have never seen a witch be able to do that," he says. "Do what?" I ask scrunching my face in confusion. "Normally witches have to use spells to make their magic work, but you didn't," he answers. I sigh, "Yeah i am different than most witches. I have always just bee able to think something and do it...poof" demonstrationg the poof with my hands. "Wow! You ust be crazy powerful," he says. "Yeah I guess," I say shrugging."You hungry?" I ask walking over to the kitchen. "Yeah, growing wolf over here," Thomas says rasing his hand. I realize that it is 5:30. My apartment is quite small. One small bedroom and bathroom. Small kitchen and livin room. It is cozy, as my mom would say. I open up the fride. Eggs, bacon and frozen waffles it is. As I am whipping up the food I think my parents would be so angry with me right now. Using my po

We leave the apartment and walk to my favorite 24-hour diner. "Pats has the best pancakes," I tell the boys as we sit in my favorite booth. Joe our waiter walks up. "Who do we have here?" she asks cheerfully. "Hey Joe this is my cousin Sean and his friends. They are visiting for a couple of days," I say with a smile. Sean's face twists into a sneer. "Oh great sounds like a blast," she says with a sile. "Do you know what you want?" "The usual," I tell her. The usual is a stack of classic pancakes with whipped cream, berries and syrup. I also get a large strawberry milkshake to go along with it. The boys order a ton of food. Instantly regretting offering to pay. As we eat, I tell them about my life in the coven and they tell me about the Blue Moon Pack. They have an Alpha who rules with an iron fist but he everyone loves and respects him. He became the Alpha at a young age. He was 25 and un-mated. They were all training to be warriors in the pack. Alpha had let them leave

Stella's POV I got home around 6 from work. I was supposed to go for drinks with Tiffany tonight. Tiff had become one fo my best friends since moving to the city. I picked a high waist skirt and a sexy crop. I was going to turn heads tonight. I had not had much male attention since Tyler and I decided to take a break a few months ago. He still calls me every week though. It has been hard, but I get the feeling lately that I didn't love him like I thought I did. I ended up curling my hair and did a light makeup look.  Tiffany comes running in. "Damn bitch you look hot," she says. I just laugh, "So do you." as she twirls for me. Tiffany is a cute redhead who pretty much comes to my sholders. She is sexy and curvy. I give her a little smack on the ass. "Okay pre-game time," she says as she grabs the vodka. She pours each of us a shot. "Here is to getting lucky tonight," she says and we both down the shot. We get to the bar around 10 and  it is

Stella's POV After my lunch with the boys I have Thomas take me to get some wine. We talk about Hannah and how she has enrolled in school. She has a lot of catching up to do. By the time we pull up to the cottage it's about 3:30. I head to the couch and pull out my laptop thinking I might as well get my grad school applications out of the way. I work on the applications for a few hours and decide to give it a rest my stomach starts to rumble again. I head to the fridge to see what I can whip up. Spaghetti with garlic bread and salad it is.  I stat cooking when I hear a knock at the door and it's Devin. "Hey, I wanted to apologize for my over reaction earlier, you guys were just having fun," he says. I give him a stern look then a smile "apology accepted," I say putting my hand out for him to shake it. He has rough hands whcih means he works hard. I do like a hard-working man I think to myself. "I am making dinner and I am all by myself. D
