Chapter 9

Cole's POV

Two of my most powerful warriors are dead. Their heads ripped from their chests and turned to black sludge. Witches, I can smell them. Their black magic symbols hang in the trees and the stench of their maagic is heavy in the air.

"What do we do here Alpha?" My Gamma Bryan asks. "We need to figure out where these witches are and destroy them," I reply.

Anger overcomes me and I let out a loud growl. I begin to pace back and forth trying to control my wolf Stephan." "Hopefully, the witch I have hired can help us find the and get rid of them" I said. "You hired a witch?" Bryan asks. "Yes, a very powerful one," I add. Bryan looks at me intrigued.

"Alright boys load them up we need to take them back home to thier families." I am not ready to lie to another family about how their loved one died. I know it is what I have to do for now until we figure out what is truly going on. 

I am ready to be home and meet this witch. I call Devin to let him know that I am on my way. I don't know why I felt so strange when I heard her in the background of our call last night. It was really annoyed and I don't know why.

We make it back to the training compound later that afternoon. I spot my Beta Devin in the distance. I start to walk over to him. He is smirking at a tall blonde-haired woman. A flash of jealousy. I can only see her from behind and I can see that she has a great ass. Then it hits me, the scent hits me. I smell citrus and honey mixed with sunshine. The most amazing intoxicating scent I have ever smelled. Devin gives her a confused look.

She turns to look at me eyes wide with a shocked look on her face.... "MATE" I growl. Stephan is stirring inside me. Excited and hungry at the same time. She is without a doubt the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. She is MINE. No wait stop thinking that! This is not good.

Stella's POV

The boys and I are doing a little combat training. They are strong and fast, but I am smart. We are having a great time and I am really working up a sweat. I look over and see Devin coming.

I get a fluttering feeling in my stomach. Last night left me hot and wanting more. We would have done more if his Alpha hadn't called. I definitey wanted to do more. He smiles and puts his hand on my waist but pulls it away quickly before the boys see.

"Hey Stella, can I talk to

you for a sec?" Devin asks. "Sure" I reply with a smile and bite my lip as we step to the side. "So, I just got off the phone with Alpah Cole and he should be here any minute. He wants to meet you" he says. "I finally get to meet the man in charge of this place," I say waving my hand. Devin gives me a little smirk.

Suddenly I get this strange tingle up my back, and then the most amazing smell floats into my nose. Coconut and almond and something else amazing but I can't put my finger on what it is. I look at Devin "You smell amazing." He looks at me confused.

Then I feel the pull. I turn around and there he is the most gorgeous man I have ever seen. Brown hair pulled up into a bun on his head. He has a scruffy but sexy beard and piercing hazel eyes. His muscles are bulging through his tight shirt. He was even bigger than Devin. Tattoos poked out of the neckline of his shirt. His hands and arms were covered. He looked dangerous yet beautiful.

I start to walk to him I just feel this pull towards this man and I have no clue who he even is. I just cannot help myself. I jump into his arms and wrap my legs around his back. We start kissing and I can feel his toung enter my mouth. His hands go to my hair and face as he kisses me deeper.

This kiss feels like nothing I have ever felt before tingles errupt all over my body. He squeezes my ass, and I can feel him getting hard. I can feel instant moisture between my legs. I moan.

Suddnely he stops. He looks me in the eyes with an angry expression. "No," He says putting me down and shoving past me on his way to the building. What was that? I think to myself. 

I look over at Devin and he has a shocked look on his face. Oh god I just did that in front of him. "I'm sorry. I don't know what happened," I say frantcally. "It's okay," he replies turning to follow the Alpha into the building.

The boys look at me stunned. Sean has his mouth gaped open. "Holly shit your Alpha Coles Mate!" "No, I'm not, I reply. "Yeah, you are," they all say at once. "How is that even possible? I a witch," I ask. "Well, if wolves can have human mates I guess they could have witch ones too," Devonte says. Oh so is that why I felt the way I did? I'm the alphas mate?
