Chapter 20
Kimberly and Ian returned to the cabin holding hands. She couldn’t hide the blush on her face because Ian kept teasing her on their way back to the cabin. “I can see you two got at it.” Leo teased with a mischievous smirk on his face. “You were welcome to join us if you missed us so badly.” Ian teased back. “Damn, that would’ve been so much fun.”Amber gave him a light punch on the arm at his reply. “Ouch… you know that was only a joke.” he grumbled as Simon and Ian laughed at him. “We were about to go fishing. Would you guys join us.” Amber asked, changing the subject. “Sure.” Ian replied. “What are we supposed to do with a raw fish out here?” Kimberly asked. “Eat it, duh… ha

Chapter 21
Roy sat in his car parked just outside his house, thinking to himself. He hasn’t wronged the moon goddess in anyway, at least there’s none he can think of, so why was he being punished? The rumors of him being cursed was spreading like wild fire and he was slowly losing his mind because he could do nothing about it. If it were up to him, he wouldn’t be this bothered by the rumors and just accept his fate, but the problem was his authority was being questioned as the alpha of the blue moon pack because he couldn’t get them a Luna. He had to retrain himself from tearing apart those who questioned his authority by locking himself away from everyone for several days until his wolf calmed down.He can’t kill his pack members with his own hands, that would be him going contrary to what he stood for as an Alpha. His dad died while protecting his pack from rogues,

Chapter 22
Kimberly stirred from her unconsciousness, her eyelids fluttered but did not open. After a few minutes, her eyelids slowly opened, she sat up wondering where she was. How did she get here? She couldn’t recognize her current surrounding, then it suddenly hit her. The previous events that led her here came rushing like a flood. She hugged her knees as fresh tears began falling down her face. Her friends were gone, the man she adored and loved was also gone. She cried silently, wondering what would become of her. How was she going to get out of this place? She doesn’t even have an idea where she was. She cried until her throat became sore. “How did you get in here?” Kimberly heard a deep husky voice ask. She looked up and her eyes met with dark angry ones. Standing some feet away from her was a handsome 6ft 3inches tanned skin guy with long black hair and bea

Chapter 23
“This will be your room for the time being.” Roy said opening the door to the guest room for Kimberly. ‘She ought to be in our bedroom, on our bed and in our arms, so we can comfort her.' His wolf said to him. Roy managed not to roll his eyes at the statement. Here he was trying to keep as much distance as possible away from this stranger, while his wolf was trying to do otherwise. “I’ll get you something clean to change into.” Kimberly couldn’t bring herself to say anything because her throat was dry and sore from crying for too long. How could she stop crying when her life had just crumbled before her eyes. She quietly watched as the helpful stranger walked out of the bedroom, she didn’t even get to know his name. Letting out a deep sigh, she settled herself on the floor with her legs crossed.

Chapter 24
Roy woke up early the next morning, washed his face, brushed his teeth and headed for the kitchen. He needed to go see if Kimberly ate her dinner, because, when he made dinner last night and called her to come eat, she said she was going to join him later but he waited until he felt sleepy and eventually went to bed, so he needed to know if she actually had dinner. He went into the kitchen and found it the same way he had left it last night, which meant she didn’t come down for dinner last night causing him to get worried. He turned around and headed for the bedroom. On getting there, he took a deep breath before knocking on the door but there was no response. He knocked twice and still got no response so instead of still knocking on the door, he quietly opened it, so as not to make any noise in case she was still asleep, but to his surprise, she wasn’t in the room. Where could she have gone to? But her bed i

Chapter 25
After taking a shower, Kimberly wore a loose tank top and skinny jeans and wrapped her hair in a messy bun. She slumped on the bed and let out a sigh. Why did she come here in the first place? She asked herself. All she wanted was to save her relationship but look how it ended, she has lost him forever, he isn’t coming back this time. They wouldn’t get married or have kids like they had planned. Why was life so cruel? In that moment, Kimberly heard a knock on the door, she quickly wiped her tears and answered. “Come in.” Roy soon appeared, closing the door behind him. “Hey.” He greeted. “Hey” “I was wondering if you’d like to go outside and get some air.” Kimberly could tell that it wasn’t a suggestion, bu

Chapter 26
The whole pack shuddered at the sound of that howl. They could recognize the howl any day, anytime because it came with much authority as compared to that of other werewolves in the pack. They were all shocked to hear their alpha express so much pain but no one dared to go outside their home after hearing his howls because the last time they heard him howl with this level of pain was when he lost his younger sister. After that incident, Roy became cranky and aggressive, hurting anyone who dared to challenge him. The only person who could calm him was his uncle and father's beta, Alan, but his uncle also tried not to overstep his boundaries by taking chances when in his wolf form because his wolf would feel threatened and may end up killing him. So the pack members respectfully remained inside the pack house and their various homes, feeling pity for their alpha.       Roy returned home

Chapter 27
Roy remained in his study after his discussion with his aunt.                                Hours Earlier    “Roy, you called saying you needed my help. What’s going on?” Christine asked as soon as she arrived, giving Roy who looked stressed out a hug. “I need you to take care of someone… There’s a human in my house, her friends were murdered by werewolves whom I suspect are from the white moon pack.” “Oh my!” she exclaimed, feeling sorry for the human. Christine thought about what Roy had just told her and realized that the human in question must be the reason they heard his howls the night before. Seeing a human has reminded him of his sister and he being the loving and caring

Chapter 28
Roy was quiet all through the meeting because he wasn’t paying any form of attention to whatever it was they were saying but luckily his beta was listening and giving his own opinion and suggestions when necessary. For all he cares they were talking rubbish, no one had the right to tell him how to run his pack. They were all lucky they hadn’t talked out of line because if any did, even if it was by mistake, he wouldn’t hesitate in using that person as a perfect example for the rest. He knew they were all acting like assholes because he was mateless. They were all after his position as alpha but they would only have a taste of it in their dreams. He couldn’t think of anything besides Kimberly. He wondered what she was doing at the moment. He could somehow tell she wasn’t crying because of the bond. If she was, he would feel her pain. Roy knew it was Christine’s doing and he was glad he made the right choice

Chapter 29
Roy effortlessly carried Kimberly bridal style. She was feather weight, that made him worry about how she fed. “Oh my goodness! What happened?” Christine gasped as she saw Roy carrying an unconscious Kimberly upstairs. “She fainted.” Was all he said before disappearing from her view. Roy carried her into his bedroom and carefully placed her on his bed, staring lovingly at her. He reached for her face and slowly caressed it with his fingers. ‘Why is it so difficult for you to come to terms that she is your mate and make her yours?’ He wished she was a werewolf like himself and not a human, that way it would’ve been easy for him as it was for every other werewolf. The more he caressed her face, the more he didn’t want to stop. He noticed his wolf was slowly trying to take over. He quickly with
