Lahat ng Kabanata ng Tied to the Mafia Man 2 : NERO: Kabanata 111 - Kabanata 120

The next morning, Chloe woke up feeling sore all over. But this is a good kind of sour. She stretched her body and her muscles protested against that moment. They were at it for almost the early morning hours and he didn't let her rest for even a minute in between. Her body is tired and she is hungry. Sunlight is now steaming from under the door and the cabin is not as cold as it was last night. She looked around the cabin and noticed that she is alone. Her clothes are neatly folded beside her. For a moment she thought Nero left her again. But when she caught sight of his backpack beside hers, she breathed in a sigh of relief. She stood up on shaky legs and decided to use the washroom and wash up a little. She is grateful for the privacy, as the bathroom door is broken. She did her morning routine and washed up as best as she could and quickly dressed herself in her clothes. She opened the cabin door and noticed it's almost mid-morning.

"You are being rude" Chloe pointed out. Nero looked at her with confusion. "Me? With whom? I was just answering a few emails while you placed the order" he explained. Chloe blinked at him. "You are so oblivious. That poor waitress was looking at you to take your order, and you are ignoring her. It wouldn't take a minute for you to look at her and tell your order. You might be rich, but you should not look down upon others" Chloe complained. She knows he is not like that. But she wanted to make him look bad so that she wouldn't fall for his charms again. She knows she is being petty and childish. But she is determined not to only look at his good qualities and ignore his bad ones. Especially after last night, she wanted this barrier of complaints to keep him at arm's length. Nero shook his head and tried to hide his amusement. 'Poor waitress? Baby, you don't know how many times she passed on her number to me in this past week. S

'Even if I have to become your bodyguard for the rest of my life, I will ' his softly spoken sincere words made Chloe tear up.  Tears of regret that they were past the point to reconcile again made her heart sad. After everything that happened between them, she cannot risk her heart again. Now placing her trust with anyone became an ordeal to her.  "I don't think we can go back to the way things used to be between us. It's a little too late for that. I cannot trust you not to push me again. You pushed me away once and I am still reeling with the aftermath of that rejection. I cannot go through all of that again" Chloe confessed softly. She too missed the days when they used to be together. But things are different now. She is more matured than she used to be. she knows to trust him again is a risk she is not ready to take. Nero tightened his hold around her when he heard her words. He knows what he did is a mistake. His fear was driving him

One month after Nero confessed to her what he did to protect her, they now have a routine. They usually stay in her apartment on the weekdays and spend their time in the Vitiello mansion on weekends. They both take turns in cooking dinner every evening. They could always hire a chef, but they like feeding each other. Every night they spend in each other's arms. Today is a Saturday and Chloe slept in longer than usual. She is feeling more tired than usual, and she is feeling dizzy in the mornings. She checked her blood pressure to see if it's low, but everything was normal. But she can sense that something is wrong. Her appetite is low and she feels nausea when even she smell eggs or Bacon. It's messing with her head for the past few days. She began to crave to be in Nero's presence more. She will feel restless if he is not home by the time she comes back from the hospital. She is not understanding why her moods change so drastically. For example, Doctor Da

Chloe is looking at the ultrasound scan. They had their second appointment a week ago, and based on the scan, she is 12 weeks along. The fetus is just a small dot now. But she knows it will grow and become a baby soon. The more time passed by, the more anxious she is getting. Nero on the other hand is very happy. He kept looking at her flat abdomen and the ultrasound report with awe.Chloe's eyes fell on her empty ring finger. The two months time span they agreed upon is long gone, but she is still not sure how serious Nero is.'Will he leave me if I somehow lose this baby?' She cannot help but think in that way. She thought she should lie to him that she lost the baby, just to see how he will react. If he pushes her away this time as well, then she would know where they stand. She cannot deny the fact that he was very caring since the beginning of their relationship. This time is no different either. He is still a very loving and caring man. But he never
