Chapter 21: Confidence
"Do you really think I had something to do with death? Really, Max Stuart?  After everything I've been doing for you, do you think you doubt me?"  "They are identical, Nish, look at them for yourself, convince yourself."  I took the notebook that Max had and I took the letter with anger, I was very angry because of the distrust that he had in me.  While I was comparing the letters, Max was idly quite anxious.  I don't understand, Max, it's actually my handwriting, but I would never do such a thing, I shouldn't even have the courage to kill a cockroach to get to a person.

Chapter 22: The visit
"I swear I saw Peter, Max," I insisted, opening the door of my house and walking in.  Max came in behind me.  I put my backpack on the couch and headed for the kitchen.  He needed to eat something. "I believe you, it's just that it seems strange to me ..." he murmured. When I got to the kitchen I made myself a sandwich. "You want?" I annoyed him a bit, although it seemed a bit cruel of me so I regretted it the second. "The advantages of being dead is that I don't feel hungry at all so you can't make me wish." He winked at m

"I knew that at some point you would accept that you couldn't keep running away from the great Dalton, I've always known the attraction you have towards me for years Nisha, but don't worry, I understand what that feels like," Dalton boasted as he didn't take his arm off my shoulder.  I swear I wanted to hit this guy for being arrogant.  You could tell Max that he didn't like the idea that I was with Dalton, but it was the only opportunity we would have to get information from him, we had clues, but we needed more concrete clues.  "And to all this, can you tell me once and for all where we are going Dalton?"

Chapter 26: The woman
"Where was you today at three in the morning?"  The officer was an older man, his hair was white and he had a lit cigar between his teeth. The classroom was empty and a little dark, the sky had become cloudy threatening to rain.  It was just him and me.  And Max of course. "In my house, asleep," I replied, trying to keep my voice from sounding shaky.  I wondered what the others had said. "According to Loren," he read something written from a folder, "he spent the night with you. That's true?" "That's how it is." "Is there someone who can confirm what you is telling me?" Yes, there

"Good morning, Nish," Max's voice echoes from somewhere in the room.  I can't see it because my eyes are still closed, I'm still a little sleepy.  "Come on, wake up."  I fidgeted on the bed while putting the pillow on my face.  "Remember we have to go out," he insisted.  I rubbed my eyes and looked at him, he was sitting on the edge of my bed.  His hair was tousled giving Max a super cute look, that made my heart skip a beat and I didn't even know why.  I sat up in bed, yawning.

Chapter 30: Jealousy
While I was looking for something comfortable to wear, my mind kept thinking about what had happened and about Max too, I felt a little scared for being almost raped by those guys.  If it hadn't been for Oliver, maybe something very ugly would have happened to us.  I put on my pajamas and lay down on my bed to read a book.  I wondered where Max was, despite everything I needed him and I felt a bit lonely. I looked away from my book as soon as I looked at a silhouette out of the corner of my eye.  It was Max.  He entered my room and stood in front of me with his arms crossed.
