◼Nikolas POV◼ It’s been several days since Rose left. I have been working with the council to find better solutions on how to handle the hunters. Finally, Charles was back to himself. He was conscious. Still hurt, but doing better. I had asked him what happened. He had to explain how Rose took him away and what he went through. The way he talked about Rose made my judgment waver. He made her sound like a monster, something out of this world. But, I knew Rose had a temper and was just like the rumors. Ruthless, heartless, a woman feared by everyone. A true queen. Charles suggested that I end my relationship with Rose. Not to fall for her, but it was too late; I had even marked her. Everything was happening so fast I haven’t had time to

◼Nikolas POV◼ “Anything?” I asked as I check the papers. “No sir, so far nothing,” one of my guards said. Charles is almost recovered. I told him to rest more, but he said he couldn’t. He has been insisting on working again. But the truth is he just wants to get revenge for what Rose did to him. I’ve still been trying to contact Liam, but no answer from him so far. So today, I’m heading to Rose's clan to look for him. Cullen will accompany me on behalf of Charles. It was eleven in the morning, and in an hour, we would leave. I had a bad feeling. I just couldn’t put it. Why? “Ready?” Cullen asked as he walks into my office.

◼Rose POV◼ I snapped. I had snapped and had enough. While I was in a meeting, my new right hand, my lover. Had informed me that Nikolas was at the gates of the clan’s entrance. So I snapped. I was fed up with the hunter’s situation and the information about me. I had almost killed Liam. He barely hangs alive. When I woke up, I had forgotten a couple of things. Like what happened between Liam and me. What I did. My mind was hazy, and as I did stuff, I started forgetting them. I looked at myself in the mirror, and I found myself strange. There was something different, but I couldn’t point it out. Checking out some papers and files that needed my urgent signature. I’m informed Nikolas is h

◼Nikolas POV◼ I was utterly shocked. This woman was stronger than anyone I have met. Of course, I had missed a couple of things, like her weapon. But, it still intrigued me about where she got it from. Her weapon wasn’t visible, so where did she hide it? Feeling her whip around my neck had me thinking of a plan to escape. This was no longer Rose but her other personality. As a small light bulb turns on in my head. I let the words slip out. “You… Give Rose back,” I stutter. The whip around my neck tightens. “Hey, freaking monster, let Rose come back, or should I say, let your other personality come out,” I said, smirking. Looking up, I se

◼Rose POV◼ Turning over, I feel my side empty. Slowly, I open my eyes and see that I’m alone in bed. Nikolas was now were to be seen. Sighing, I sit up and ruffle my hair. I must look a sexy mess. I didn’t know what time it was, so getting up, I head to the bathroom and take a quick bath. Once out, I remember my dress is destroyed. Looking around, I stare at Nikolas walk in the closet. Wandering around, I get something to wear. Rummaging around, I find a long sleeve shirt that fits me perfectly. Fixing my bra, I dress. Deciding to wear my shoes, I sit on the floor to fix them when something catches my attention. Stopping what I’m doing, I stare at the glass box on a shelf. What was inside the glass box caught my attention so much that it called for me? It entranced me. Slowly I approach it and, touching the box, I see it glint. Were
