บททั้งหมดของ Hunter's Chorus: บทที่ 11 - บทที่ 20

Sheila whistled an old nursery tune she had been used to hearing from her human long before the war had happened as she bounced up and down on the seat perched in front of the wagon as it rolled quite noisly along the unevened road, she held on to the reins and did not bother to urge the horse to move faster because the road was a perilous mix of rocks, bumps, holes and sharp objects, she could not risk loosing a wheel or waking up the humans, but then she was sure that the bumpy ride must have woken them up already. She knew that if they were already awake, then they would not scream or shout because they would most definitely believe they were in a demon's wagon so what they might do, or would do would be to find a means of escape without her knowing about it. Now that she thought about that, she remembered that she did not tie them up and now thinking about it maybe she should, else they might escape from her and walk right into another danger, but then again, it was not

Both Phidian and Leticia kept quiet when Liam walked back inside. Leticia held her cup on her laps and wound both hands round the smooth body, letting the heat warm her hands. She could not drink this, it was too bitter and she suspected that this demon girl had purposely made it as so, she eyed her from the corner of her eyes and frowned. If she could not drink it at least it is would serve another purpose of making her palm and fingers warm. She watched Liam sit with a sigh, placing both of his hands on the counter and resting on them for a while then he lifted his head and fixed a soft gaze on Phidian. Phidian who was caught unawares because her eyes were also on him began to feel somewhat uncomfortable, she blinked repeatedly and blushed heavily, momentarily looking away from him."Th...thank you." She muttered."Hmm." He blinked. "Thank me for what?"Phidian pointed towards the door and added. "For getting rid of Ben.""Ohh that..." He waved a hand. "Ben is

Now there are rules you will have to abide by if you are to stay here with me." Liam spoke to Leticia while he sat with his legs crossed and placed on the table. He watched as the girl took in all of her surroundings with her eyes and she loved every where but where he was, she was feeling uncomfortable having just him with her, that much he could pick from the feelings swimming around her which was so evident to him. What had he been thinking when he had offered his place for her to stay?!He had not been thinking, it was the cursed feeling he always felt when she was involved, caused by the bond which they now shared. He hated that feeling because it always spoke out in favor of his human and usually, his brain would go dumb and he would be unable to fight the urge to help her and to keep her safe. Him having a human right now with the way the world was like this, was like having a child running around a play ground full of broken bottles, and he was the unrel

Ben was not exactly thrilled about returning back to master Renard, mostly because he did not know how he would face him with the news of what Master Krane had said, but he knew that he had to. He had to deliver the message given to him by Master Krane for the mighty Arch Angel Renard, but... what would he say? How would he say it? How the hell would he even begin? To say that the potion was not ready would actually not be so bad, but then to say that the most important ingredient needed in mixing the potion was unavailable, to say that it had not yet been found and or might never be found because Ben himself knew of how rare that particular ingredient that was needed was.Usually, before now and as it had already been, all the potions which had been made and used in keeping Renard stable and sane had come from Master Krane as he was the only demon to master all the arts of sorcery, witch craft, black magic and the rest of the dark ways. He had been the one to know how to get al

"... Liam." Phidian called loudly, raising her voice above the noise and loud music of the bar but only just enough that he could hear her, she shoved him lightly by the shoulder. Liam blinked twice then rose his head to look at her."Where did you go?" She inquired, leaning in a bit closer."What do you mean?" He half smiled and downed the last gulp of the barley. "I am right here, seated here, or am I not?"Phidian dropped the empty tray she had been holding and pulled a seat closer to Liam and sat. She placed her left palm on his right forearm and felt his biceps flex beneath her touch, he was nervous, that much she could tell and it worried her because Liam was not one to be nervous."Liam...""I feel suffocated." He cut her off. "I need some air.""Then let us step out." She held him by the hand, pulling him out of his seat and manoeuvred them both around the drunk and loud demons chattering away in the bar until they were out. They walked aro
