Chapter 29
29. Rogue game is still on!!! "Lisa, I was about to tell you that," His feet stuck in the roots growing above the land and stumbled.    But anyway Alan composed himself and continued his hasty walk toward her. It didn't bring any sort of change in her movement at all as she hid herself more and more behind the tree as though trying to camouflage herself from his eyes as well as the man's that he left behind him.    "Uhhh, I thought it would be good if I told you later. Please don't be angry with me. I will tell you everything from the beginning to ending but please, don't get mad at me." He wanted to get a grip on his emotional state and think calmly about what he was saying but the fear of losing her splintered in the pit of his stomach.    His own nerves clanged silently in his eardrums as he viewed her startled facade. Escaping from her death and falling into the hands of a mate might sound like

Chapter 30
30. Alpha's mated to a moonborn! As the night tiptoed, the full moon glistened through the veil of dark clouds that floated across the moon, left to right and right to left. The night insect chirped lulling the little cubs in the Brave blood pack while the guards protected their realm. Beta Adrian was on his round in the garden making sure everything was fine and that the security of the pack was certainly up to the alpha's expectation just as he had wanted. He was brushing his feet slowly on the grass in the garden, watching the soldiers standing stiff in their spots and guarding the pack house as cautiously as they could. He was impressed by their alert minds and ever so ready postures that reacted when any noise brushed past them or whenever an unusual sound came from the surroundings. His body was a vessel tossing and twisting in the ocean of pain yet survived whatever hard waves that crashed at its bottom that was under water. It

Chapter 31
31. Practising with the rogue... Oops, Alpha!    The arrival of new dawn brought about a new change in alpha Alan and Lisa's lives. They woke up grinning at each other as their hands have combined together in a perfect hold while they were asleep. It seemed more comfortable when Lisa shied and let her palm hold Alan's tight.    She had purposely done it because she was feeling scared at night as the bits of her birthday evening occurred in the form of a bad nightmare, and to keep herself warm and calm, she silently took his hand in her hold and slept peacefully.    "You can also hold me tight if you want to, I wouldn't mind it." He had said and the following night she exactly did the same.    They came close to each other within a span of five nights. And when it was the sixth night, they were already sleeping together in one blanket that Alan had stolen from the market.

Chapter 32
32. Alpha king, Jonah.    The night sky was aglow with the pale crescent moon radiating like a silvery claw in the night sky. The twinkling blanket of stars stretched to infinity as on the seashore a hunchback halted, holding a torn leather bag hugged near his chest.   He had his upper body draped with a thin black cotton shawl. With his free arm he yanked out a small rowboat that was kept hidden under a pile of leaves and twigs, looking as weak as his long fingers. He dragged it out and plunged it under the water. Having himself seated on the middle platform he got hold of the oar which was lying under his feet and dipped it in the water.   The sea was not silent, the winds were roaring continuously as they rolled over before the first gust subsided. Under the force, the black veil from his head flew backwards and revealed his countenance. It was as dark as the eclipse. His lips were thick and chapped. His nose was

33. Alpha Alvares, a walking calamity.    "Alpha king, I have brought a mind blowing news for you this time." He forced a smile neglecting the increasing pain in his mouth as it was also oozing out thick scarlet liquid.    "Really? Then what are you waiting for? Blow our minds with your news, stupid clown." Jonah announced, resting back in his throne he crossed his left leg over the right one.    The aura around him was so tense and disgusting that even the flames of beacon lights around them could not avoid it. They flickered as though there were intense winds striking them when in reality there was nothing. It was because of his dangerous persona that made the environment heated.    While the air grew thickly tense, came the hunchback forward holding his head. He had pressed the end of his dirty serape on the cut while his eager eyes brightened and widened when his mouth began,

Chapter 34
34. Preparing her for a war Alpha Alan's POV    “Look at the target carefully. Do not let the view of the rabbit leave your sight. Stay focused and swiftly let the arrow go.” Lisa shook her head with a slow hmm as she watched across her at the sable brown rabbit sniffling near a plant.   “Concentration is everything for an archer besides his deep eyes.” I added further as I helped her hold the bow firmly in her hand with the arrow aiming at the rabbit.   She didn't react or say a thing but stared at her front at her target while I was standing behind her back. My fingers were on her wrists, chest pressing in her back as I was helping her claim her first hunt.  In this one month my little mate has learned quite a lot of things. I feel proud while saying this that my mate is a warrior. I always knew that a little investment in her and towards her training, and she would do better.

35. Jeremy, the man of her dreams! Lisa's pov   "You are always so quick, Alan. You impress me with your flexibility." I smiled to myself since the fire was lit up and the platform on which I would be toasting my rabbit was also set by Alan.   He was not around, I could smile and praise him as much as I wanted without being shy and blushing.    This guy has been my strength. He taught me what my brother couldn't for years just within two months of practice. I should appreciate his skills in the first place. They are too sharp and the way he teaches is as good as his own moves.   Alan has trained me to a certain extent that I can defend myself easily if I am alone. His tricks and secret tips are helpful and I can survive without him.    This also ensures that I am ready to begin my further journey— the journey beyond the woods, to the alpha's pack house.

Chapter 36
36. Making fun of my kindness? Alan's POV   A coppery shiver trailed down my neck, I saw my mate jump in another wolf's arms and squeeze him right under her hug as she sobbed near his neck.   "Jeremy, I can't believe you came for me. I.... I missed you so much. I really missed you!" Sudden dread and sense of coldness took over my body, I watched her with betrayed eyes as she sobbed in his arms.   "I was alone, Jeremy. I felt too lonely. I had no one to share my pain." Slow and shaky smile crept on my lips hearing her say that.   Was she making fun of my kindness?   I bloody had been here for more than two months with her. I left my pack, my people and the cubs who have seemingly come out of danger after a period of agonizing pain. Yet there she was saying that she was lonely.   "What took you so long, Jeremy? Say something. Please." She choked on her

Chapter 37
37. Red Witch. Brave City,   Adrian was on a round in the markets of the pack. He observed kids gleefully laughing and playing here and there amidst the sound of vendors calling for customers to buy their products. He had a team of seven soldiers following him in armour.   They were being gawked at by she-Wolves, ogled at, nevertheless their eyes remained straight and focused, gaping at the front as they concentrated on their job.    The workload due to alpha's disappearance increased on beta Adrian's shoulders. It was hard but not impossible. He was loving his work more than before given that the ever so annoying ministry from the pack was demolished.   He and his gamma with the commander of the army were the ones who looked into the matter of the pack. Leading a pack never seemed so fun as it did now.    "Long live beta Adrian!" Adrian acknowledged the greetin

Chapter 38
38. Jealous alpha? Alan swore he needed to get out of that place not because his wolf was burning in fire of jealousy but because he wanted to gulp some fresh breaths of air. Unluckily, the atmosphere also changed immensely after Jeremy's arrival.   The air felt stale and the winds had stopped. His skin burned and the sweat beads thickened on his forehead. Alan mopped them away with the back of his hand as he rotated to glance back at Lisa and Jeremy.   They were as quiet as a dry leaf on the surface of land. Standing together, still in each other's arms, they inhaled each other's cologne. Though his wolf angrily growled in his chest and forced him to separate Lisa from the new guy, Alan preferred to follow his Beta's call.   'Alan, we don't have time to waste. Come with me NOW.' He heard on his mind link beta Adrian's serious yet grievous tone.   "Uh, it's gonna be dark soon... I will go fet
