Veronica POV                Today is moving day. After living in the townhouse for the last 8 weeks I was happy for the change. Nikola had worked so hard on the house before meeting me, it seemed like a waste to not occupy it. I hadn’t made the trip since Torvi graduated 2 weeks ago. I was anxious to see what Nikola had accomplished.    With all the ‘off the books’ research Nikola and I had been doing, we reduced our office hours to Tuesday and Thursdays. Nikola POV                Veronica and I walked into the house from the back porch. She wore my jacket beautifully. I took the blanket from near the fire to cover myself. There was no way to know if Torvi and Jessie had returned. Nikola POV                The ride to the packhouse was quiet. I knew that Roni didn’t truly have feelings for Theo. I could feel it in the bond. The connection she had with him hurt her just as much as it hurt me.
