Patricia impatiently tapped her foot as she waited for the door to open. Finally, she heard the jingling of keys and the door swung open to reveal a short, muscular man with an abundance of tattoos. She couldn't help but smirk at the tattoo on his upper arm - two flaming swords crossed with a black scorpion perched on top.She forced a smile and looked up at him. His rugged face and scraggly ponytail made him look like he just walked off the set of a biker movie. "Who are you and what do you want?" he gruffly demanded, eyeing her up and down."Hey sexy," he wolf-whistled, licking his lips. Patricia rolled her eyes, unimpressed.Ignoring his advances, she pushed her way inside. "Can I come in?" she asked, taking a seat on the couch."Babe, you're already in," he replied, winking at her. "In fact, you're in my heart." Patricia couldn't help but roll her eyes again."Anyway," she said, "you ordered some jewelry from Marco Lux, right?""Yeah, so what?" he asked, clearly annoyed at the inte

Patricia stood with one leg in the car and the other leg outside, her hand resting on the door. Marco's question had thrown her into deep thought, and she was unsure how to answer it. Hearing a tap on the window, she breathed out, regaining her composure. Slowly she stared at Marco, whose eyes were scanning her face, wondering what had made her zone out."My address?" he drawled with an eye roll. "I need your address to drop you home," he said in a 'durh' tone.It had not occurred to her that he would ask for her home address. Now thinking about it, she realized it was silly not to have considered it. How on earth was he going to drop her off at her house without knowing the address? She sighed, trying to come up with a solution. If she gave him her location and he found out that she lived in a mansion, it would be suspicious. She didn't want to go home by herself either. She mustered up a fake smile and said, "I'll direct you, just drive," before entering the car fully."Don't talk to

"Sir, please, let me explain myself," Patricia pleaded, following him to his office. He turned swiftly, his expression demanding an explanation. "What do you have to say? That your alarm clock malfunctioned and you overslept? Or perhaps there was heavy traffic on your way here? Are those the excuses you're going to give?""No," she lied, the words slipping from her mouth against her better judgment. In truth, she wanted to tell him that her clock had stopped working, causing the alarm to go off at the wrong time. But now, hearing him say it out loud, it sounded like a terrible excuse. And it was.She bowed her head, avoiding eye contact, trying to make him feel her fear.He nibbled on his lower lip, his arms folded across his chest, staring at her intently. Perched on the edge of his desk, he observed her for a moment before speaking. "If that's not the reason, then tell me a better excuse."She sniffed, adding a few tears for effect. "Sir, it's not an excuse. It's the truth." He rolle

Pity shimmered in their eyes as they gazed at the wounded lady, utterly shocked at Camilla's audacity to harm such a helpless soul. The reason behind the attack remained a mystery, and only Lainey held the answers. Patricia appeared visibly shaken, making them hesitant to pry further, fearing it might worsen her condition.Overwhelmed by the sympathetic atmosphere, Patricia mustered the strength to speak up. "Guys, I'm fine, just a few scratches here and there," she said, awkwardly pointing to her face and hands while letting out a chuckle. "Nothing to worry about, really." As she waved her hands above her head, she accidentally jabbed her own stomach, causing her to wince in pain.Concerned, they rushed to her side, assuming her discomfort was a result of Cami's assault. "See? You're not fine. Your face is completely bruised. You need to get a medical check-up," one of the women in a pink flowery top, neatly tucked into her smarty pants, insisted as she examined Patricia with a worrie

"Yes, if you just move closer, we will be kissing," he whispered, his lips inching towards hers, ready to bridge the gap between them. Just as their lips were about to meet, Patricia swiftly flicked him on the forehead, snapping him out of his mesmerized state.Marco blinked rapidly, regaining his senses. He instinctively recoiled, feeling a throbbing pain on his forehead. "Ouch! Why did you do that?" he groaned, gently massaging the spot."To prevent contamination. You actually wanted to kiss me," Pat chuckled. "I thought I wasn't your type."He cleared his throat, adjusting his collar. "You're not my type. I wanted to, um, bite your lips," he stumbled over his words."Ha! Really?" A mischievous smirk played on her lips as she leaned in closer. To Marco, it felt like all the air had been sucked out of the room. He grew increasingly uncomfortable with Patricia's proximity."Y-yeah," his voice betrayed him. As she moved back, he finally felt a sense of relief, standing up from the table
