Chapter 11 Binding
Ren was currently outside under a tree. His Followers a safe distance away. Two-handed over the Pot she acquired. It was not for her but a gift she wanted to give to Ren. The small gesture made him happy inside. Just for that, he promised to help with anything she wanted once. The young one was quite happy with that arrangement. "Now, to "Bind" and "Refine" an item to yourself." Ren had the Dragon Pot & The Upgradeable Pot, from Reap out. "The slow route is the best route. Gives you the chance to make sure it goes well and the chance to set up protection in place." Ren had several Formations setup near him. One to Drain if there was excess Ion Energy that leaked out from the items. One to pull any wayward Souls inside. One to block any outward weather phenomenon. "Do they have to be this precise?" Three asked looking at the triangle setup of the Formations. Her eyes looking them over as each were done perfectly distance-wise

Chapter 12 Moving Day Part 1
-A few days later- . "Hum, hum, hum." Ren was outside enjoying the breeze as the others cultivated not to far from him. The last few days had been enjoyable, but the trouble was rearing its head in the form of an Outer Sect Elder who came to collect rent. Apparently, Ren's uncle did not pay still. He figured the man would have someone like his disciples to make the payment. He was wrong, or someone was messing with things. "Oh, you are back Elder snake face." Ren said this seriously but with a little jest. As the others moved about he continued to collect info on the Elders for the future the last few days. Each of them were his eyes and ears. Elder Snake Face was actually a pretty decent Elder. Brought down by all the trouble the Sect had been facing. He treated disciples fairly enough. Each were given the benefit of the doubt. But somehow, 2nd Elder had gained something on him. The only way Snake face could get out of doing any bad s

However, they were also used to put people in strange patterns to boost Ion attacks. Battle support help really for the desperate.Inscriptions could do both and also had the use of turning permanent after heavy application. Think a tattoo artist. An extreme pain to remove. Most people just called Inscription as the main and the other two as the lower level of the same field. Ren was part of that mindset group. Despite his old age, he was stubborn.Flying the mountain just a bit higher to pull in more Ion Energy. That Ion energy was then used to power the defenses and Gateway for the place. It would take some time before Ren changed everything up.Ren would add additional layers later on. Thinking about One at the office, he looked at Three and gave her a seal to allow her to enter the place. Then he sent her to collect One when he finished."You got it, Master Ren!" Three answered promptly and left. Like Two and Four, she was starting to gain Ren's favor

Chapter 14 Moving Day Part 3
-Later on- .   Elder Kung and Mei were adjusting to their new life still. Elder Kung was going over the new cultivation manual Ren gave to Mei in great detail. Almost everything was touched base on. Her Gathering Realm cultivation was 3x times better than the old one. It brought her comfort after having to start over. Mo Lan, Two, and Three went to get a few missions for them to do. With Mo Lan getting restored an Elder Kung having stabilized his Realm, finally. Ren was ok with doing some work. He and Four had broken in his pot and made the pill for Mo Lan to take when she returned with the others. The "Replenish Pill" would restore her body to normal as well as cut the toxins out completely. Four had convinced Ren not to let her take it out in the open. To allow her to go to her room and take it. "Fine spoilsport. I was trying to give you a little experience in seeing a flustered woman." Ren smiled behind his fan. "I guess anothe

-A week later- . Ren and company had moved out to the "Shoreline" with a steady pace. Mo Lan had broken through and was currently at the Reformation Realm Rank 1. The Lan clan had made a little trouble with the group made it out of Sect territory. But a few words from Elder Kung made them shut up real quick. They were suprised he recovered and was so strong. Even though he discarded the Lan family name, several people in the clan wanted him to return. Using bribery and even intimidation towards the little girl Mei to do so. The traveling was a good time to get her bearings back. Despite her setbac

Chapter 17 Shoreline Part 3 Trouble.. not really
-Sometime later- . Another three hours passed before Ren stopped. He shook his pant legs free of the soil and his shirt that was around his waist. Gathering another large chunk of soil into his bags, he walked back to the others. Looking to a small mound of soil, he blew on it. *Woosh!* The soil parted revealing the disciple who threatened his Follower earlier. He was covered in scars and had purple mist leaving his clothing. His Ion energy was almost spent from protecting himself. Ren had put a "brand" on him for spying later. It was the only reason he still lived. "Haaa, I wonder if we can leave early to get a good meal back home?" Ren asked out loud. Mo Lan looked at him and forced a smile out. She was quite unnerved by the use of the sand. As well as Ren walking around without his shirt on. She was quite the one for modesty, despite what she had to do to live. Mo Lan and Three got long well in that regard. "No matter, I think I will take a nap."

Chapter 18 Shoreline Part 3 An Ancestor
"You people are annoying and stupid. And apparently know nothing of barriers." Ren sat up agitated. He opened the barrier and let them in. "Stay here while I go and sleep in your barrier." When he moved, he sent a change in the barrier again with his feet. The Crystals in key points changed facing and function. "Thank.. you." Melinda said. Ren did not stay long enough for her to say more. He went over and plopped into their barrier and went to sleep. "Why risk going into our barrier?" She noticed his face was hidden the moment he got up. 'Why did he hide behind a fan? It felt like he was smiling in a way.' "Ass.." Valli said lowly. "That's our Master." Two smiled. She had already recovered and had her hands on her temporary swords. Just in case the princess tried anything. "Sit tight and everything will be ok." She could let out an attack pushing them out of the barrier with ease. Despite the difference in cultivation. With a good paralysis, the effec

Chapter 19 Shoreline Part 4 The Fight in the Barrier
"Huh, you came back to see if they were here? How nice of you." Ren smiled towards the incoming guards. 'Are those guests still on the way?' He thought to Reap. Reap System: Yup. They will come at a decent enough time. Like right now actually. Quest: Protect those who are loyal. Your reward... I am not saying specifically. It will be even better when you get it. Hehehe.. you will like it. A few of the guards were surprised the princesses were not here. The Lan guards assumed they would make it back and try to enforce the barrier with some of their life-saving devices. They would then come in and feign helping but kill them instead. Traveling around asking for help would have given a good alibi with saying the barrier broke when asked later. "So you fixed it. Should have stayed where you were. This will be your grave now." The 1st Lan guard raised his hand. This signaled the others to attack. "What are you talking about? You cannot kill him. He
