- Conner’s POV- Bernard’s revelation came unexpected. I didn’t really know how to react, but truly there’s two sides of every story. I resented him over the years thinking of what he has done to my father that made him the monster he was. But now, with everything that he said, it gave me a whole different view of the situation. It could be real, it could be not, but his voice says that his story was genuine and it was not just to gain my trust. The more I felt relieved when he finally said that he is tired of holding grudges. That was the assurance I wanted to have.
