Before she could process what she heard, the man was fast to push her back in. The impact caused her to hit on the ground where the pots are lining up by the fence. Her eyes widened in fear. The man walked in and shut the gate. When he turned to face her, a familiar wave of terror began to roll into her gut. Elaine opened her eyes and found herself in the emergency room. She could hear noices and voices outside the curtained cubicle where she was in. They were talking about her and her attacker. Fear crossed her eyes when she remembered what happened.She felt relief when the curtain opened and Marco peek out. He walked towards her when he saw her awake.“How do you feel? BEFORE the clock hits two, Marco and Elaine arrived at her place. She opened the car door as soon as Marco parked it in front of their house.“I can manage. ELAINE barely slept. Even before the sun rises she was able to finished cleaning up the broken pots on the pathway. She was expecting to see few blood stains there so she tried to calm herself but she found no traces of blood. Jack was not badly hurt then.After cleaning up, she checked her phone. Elaine tightly shut her eyes when she heard Tan trying to unlock the door to her room. She gripped her chest and bit her lower lip, waiting for the pain in her chest to subside.Eventually, her breathing returned to normal.
