Rex soon got tired and had passed out sitting on a chair and resting his head on the side of the bed Cherry laid. Into his deep sleep he thought something was playing with his head. Instead of shaking it off, Rex stayed put, enjoying the hand playing with his hair. Cherry lay on the floor in shock. Her whole body was numb and frozen in place, not even her eyes moved nor blinked. The only sign that said she was alive is the rise and fall of her chest.
