Chapter XXI
"I see that you have been glowing ever since you're married, Nick," "And I have seen that you are being extra annoying, Ian. I wonder if you should get leg shackled as well so that your annoyance will not ruin my day," Nick said as he was reviewing the matter of his tenants as well as the problems within the court. The Lesser Gentry, the mortal lords that knew about the secret of the royal family and the Higher Court lords, was trying to make sure that their respective tenants were happy without having to rely on the Higher Court. But it would seem impossible since they have to make sure that everyone was treated the same and fair. Nick rubbed his temple as Ian was settling on the chair in front of his desk. "Still not giving me the land, are you?" he said as Nick was glaring at his peer. Ian was smirking before he was whistling low. Niklaus was sighing before rubbing his eyes as he leaned back on his chair.

Chapter XXII
Nick was looking at his wife as Becca was brushing her hair down her back. It was enchanting enough that he did not go to her and did it himself since she was frowning at her own reflection in the vanity mirror. The silk robe that was clinging to her lithe figure hid nothing from his view as Nick was waiting for her to join him in their bed. "What are you thinking about, my love? So deep in thoughts that I can see some lines are forming on your forehead," he said before Becca was glaring at him through the mirror before she set her comb down and turned to look at him. He smirked as the robe opened slightly at her chest. He knew that his wife was naked underneath the robe as well as he was underneath the cover of their bed. "Are you mocking me, Lord Niklaus Dragomir?" she asked before she was throwing daggers with her eyes. If looks can kill, it will be his wife right now. "Not that I am complaining about the view, my dea

Chapter XXIII
Becca was looking at the hard chest that she was caressing with her hands as Niklaus was sleeping soundly beside her. She sighed as she knew that she was still craving for his blood but she was too afraid to tell her husband that she wanted to feed again. And she really wanted it so badly that she slipped away from the bed as Becca put on her bathrobe before she went out of their bedchambers. She sighed before making her way toward the kitchen that she knew was vacated for the servants will not be up for another few hours. And the sunlight was highlighting their world while Becca was walking in shadows to avoid their contact. Another thing that she had to give up was when she was converted by her husband and soulmate.  Becca walked into the kitchen before she was making her tea. She put some water in a kettle and settled it over the fire that she made before waiting for it

They planned to travel to Moorgis through North Msallste and hoping to be there in 3 days. But of course, Niklaus wanted to stay in North Msallste for a night before continuing to Moorgis. Becca argued that they could be there earlier for their wedding trip if they did not stop at the town. But as usual, Nick never listened as he did not want to make Becca uncomfortable for being in the carriage longer than 24 hours. In the end, her husband won as they stopped at the North Msallste for a night before continued to Moorgis. She was looking at the town that was debuted as the cultured town of North Msallste with their biggest accomplishment was their opera and performances that were being held there every night. Becca just hoped that they did not meet Skylar Kramton while they were there for she would call for her head should Niklaus be meeting her again and her hands were not on her own personnel. Still, Becca was bitter enough with the opera

Chapter XXV
"This is not something that I will be expecting to wear around here," Becca said as she was looking at herself when she was wearing a simple day gown in muted brown as well as with fichu and an apron to her skirt. She then put on her bonnet before she turned to look at Niklaus who was wearing a simple white shirt with a brown waistcoat and black breeches. He looked deliciously devilish in those clothing as he would be wearing his court clothes. "And you look amazing in it, my love," Niklaus said as he went to kiss her neck. Becca sighed before she was leaning back against his shoulder. Now, she did not want to go out into the village to explore for she wanted to do wicked things to her duke. "I see that look on your face, Becca. And no, I promised you that I will be giving you a tour for our wedding trip hence this has to happen," Niklaus said as he was waving at their clothes. Becca arched her eyebrow when she turned to

Chapter XXVI
Becca hit Niklaus on the door of the cottage as she was shedding his clothes. Niklaus was impatient as his wife when she tossed his waistcoat away and he pulled the shirt over his head. His muscles were reflected by the candlelight that illuminated their cottage. Before Becca can do anything, Niklaus was ripping her fichu and kissing her collarbone as well as her neck. "Nick," "Yes, my love?" Niklaus said as he was removing the buttons of her gown before she was stepping out of the bodice as well as the skirt, leaving her standing in her chemise as Niklaus was smiling at the half-nakedness that his wife was in. "Now, remove it for me," he said before his hands were moving toward his breeches, removing the buttons slowly as Becca was pulling the laces that were holding her chemise together. She tugged at it and the cloth was giving away, showing her husband the top of her breasts before she shrugged the chemise from her s

Nick did not hear anything about Russell Davenport for he was one of the Lesser Gentry and he never stood for his father at court but that didn't mean that Nick would not be making inquiries about his fellow peer of the realm. It would be a shame if the Duke of Belikov, cousin to the current queen did not know anything about his fellow lords, Higher Court or Lesser Gentry. He was navigating Msallste Square with ease as he was looking around to make sure that he was on the right track to find the estate that Becca's oldest sister would be residing. If he did not know any better, Niklaus would say that Becca was agitated to meet her sister. Was it because it has been a long time, not thinking about the time that her sister came to their estate as a surprise for her? Or was Becca felt like she cannot face her sister without saying anything about the secret that she now held till the end of her life? "Are you alright, my love? You look...kind of

Chapter XXVIII
The pregnant silence was deafening as Rafael and Russell were staring at the Davis sisters that were trying to humiliate each other. Niklaus noticed that neither husband was making any statement to make sure that their wives would not bully their youngest sister again. But what Niklaus did not count for when Lord Rafael Douglas was getting up from his seat and tugged his wife with him. "Apologize, Your Graces. I did not think  that my wife was disciplined enough for talking in that tone to you, even though you're family. I believe we have extended our invitation to this dinner," Rafael said as he was pulling Rosa to follow him. Becca blinked at her brother-in-law and reading between the lines of his firm lips and hard eyes, she knew that Rosa will be suffering on her account. "Please, Rafael, that would be unnecessary. I did not take any of that statement personally and to be quite frank, I have always been speaking with Rosa that way.

It has been a few weeks since their wedding trip to Moorgis and that disastrous dinner with her sisters and their husbands. Becca was humming softly as the twilight just entered the sky. The indigo sky indicated that their nightlife will be starting as Niklaus has to leave to be at the Stone Tower, leaving Becca to spend her time in their estate's library. Becca has picked up another reading that she found in the massive library as the tomes were worn out and the spines have been cracked since the start of their lifetime. "Milady, there is someone to see you. Are you willing to see her?" the old butler said as Becca turned her head from the pages that she was immersed in the new tome that she was reading. She closed the book before smiling at the butler as she was standing up from the divan that she was sitting in the library. "Who was it?" she asked him as she was putting the tome on the table that was situated at the end of the divan. Everyone believed that Niapachad Island was an island located on the west side of Crete Island in the Aegean Sea. However, no one survived to tell the truth of that belief. Some said that it was concealed in a powerful veil that was invisible to the naked eyes and any human from modern society cannot come to the island. Others believed that there was an entry point on Crete Island that can transport you to Niapachad Island, wherever it was located. Some claimed that there were other entry points around the world but that was up for discussion in the scientific community of the modern world. But one thing was for sure, Niapachad Island was a secret in the modern world that the scientist wished to uncover but it remained a mystery to this moment. Niapachad Island was a country that conserved the history that surpassed time and century.
