I rushed down the almost empty hallway, only stopping when I reached my locker while constantly looking over my shoulder to check if I wasn't being followed by him.   I open the locker and shoved my books into it while I pack my history textbook and notepad into my backpack to study at home and read ahead of tomorrow's class.   Being a new student means a lot of things to me, it's like am being given another chance to be better and am not ready to lose it. I can't risk having my grade lower than they already are. I'm not in the category of straight A's students like he most probably is but- urgh! there I go again! I sigh in frustration.   I met him less than 12ho

I've been avoiding him the whole week. I ignore his stares in class and pretend to listen to my lectures when all that's on my mind is him. I thought I could make the best out of the new opportunity I got but no, I've migrated from the scary dreams and the invisible being that torments my sleep to him and the strange wolfs I kept on seeing every night. He's now my main distraction. I can't read without seeing his imaginary face in my textbook, and my mind isn't helping, it kept on playing tricks on me. Sometimes in the night, I will think I heard his voice, but most times, it's just a wolf howling in the distance. The last time I opened my window in the night, I saw a small black wolf with green shiny eyes right outside my window, and a few seconds later, it got tackled to the ground and was torn to shred by a grey wolf with red eyes, whose fur reflects the glowing night moon. It

"Lucian, something is wrong with mate," Adal said with a tone of urgency, but Ignore him. "Lucian!" He called again.  "You're just being paranoid, okay! She will be fine. She's not a kid that can't take care of herself so please, let me focus on what I'm being taught in class!" I shunned, and he growled angrily at me. I haven't seen her since she ran out of the dining hall and Adal has been pacing restlessly in my mind, urging me to go search for her. "Okay. I'm sorry," I apologized and he stopped growling. "She is a full-grown adult, I'm sure she can ta....." I was in the middle of trying to make Adal reason with me when I felt a slight change in the air.  I sensed an unknown energy bubbling in the air. All the supernaturals in the classroom felt it too and we all looked at each other questioningly. "What's

The amount of power radiating off the king as he stands staring out the window would have caused a normal wolf to be rolling on the floor, but being the beta, Russell's wolf is a quarter strong as the alpha's wolf. Tell me, Russell, how did you let this happen!  Alpha mozerus slammed his palm on the wall and the whole building felt the force of his anger. "His wolf was in control, and he ran out before I could stop him," Russell responded with his head bowed. "... Son" he called through their personal link but couldn't reach him and this made him more furious. "Don't just stand there Russell, dispatch the pack's warriors and rangers, the prince must be found..."  "Yes, Alpha," he replied. "Seven rangers and eight warriors should meet me on the training ground, now!" He mind-linked and turned to leave the king's office. "Russell,

The first blood drawn was from my back. The rogue dig it's filthy claws in my cloth and slashed them across my skin while I was distracted fending of the rest. I stiffened a scream as it's claws tore open my skin, I turned around swiftly, digged into its chest and ripped out it's heart. They only kept on increasing the more I kill. I lost contact with my wolf and start to loose my energy gradually which is really strange, my wounds are refusing to heal. By the time I killed the fifteenth wolf I could barely maintain my stance. I fell to the floor on one knee, barely holding up with dizziness setting in fast from blood loss while the rest of the wolfs took the opportunity and launched another attack to finish me off completely. A surprising blinding light shine through the forest and the atmosphere suddenly become disturbed. Cloud rumbles with great dissatisfaction while it darkens with the speed of light, the air around thickened while piles of dead leafs rose from the floor and circ
