Lahat ng Kabanata ng Dark Lord's Cinderella: Kabanata 71 - Kabanata 80

"Stand up, woman." He ordered in the chilliest demeanor as if he was close to murdering somebody. When Daeira did so, she eased up her aching knees and faced him as he stood up and trained her eyes towards the frozen figure of Heoshe, Hani, and Kimie."These insignificant humans hit you and brought you to your knees?" he asked darkly. His eyes were almost a replica of hell when he regarded the unmoving stepmother and stepsisters of Daeira."Oh, it's alright. I'm used to it anyway." Daeira said while she grinned at him but the tears that escaped her eyes betrayed her true feeling which in return made him frowned. She chuckled while she wiped those away. "It must be the slap." she explained the tears.GD approached her first and touched her cheek and mumbled a strange language before she felt the coldness that predicated his words. Her eyes rounded when there was no more pain on her cheeks and on her knees. As if it never even occurred.

It would be a lie if Leera will say that she wasn't worried about Daeira's well-being whenever she was with the king. Though what she saw for that night would tell her that the king won't kill the bride out of the blue. But she learned of Hakyi and Osiris's animosity towards the bride after it was confirmed from their source how she was compromised by the Nazis and agreed to bring down the Aryan king when the time comes. If Daeira's soul won't be reaped by the king himself, it might be through the hunters'.Leera remembered to be severely reprimanded by the chief of her tribe to stop stalking the bride and just let the king decide what he wish to do with his bride."He's gonna end up killing her and the counsels are pushing him to do so." Leera reasoned with the chief tribe.Th

Daeira absentmindedly looked outside her window, ignoring the cackling of her stepsisters  down below along with her stepmother. The rain drops hitting the leaves of the trees outside seemed to be fascinating to her eyes right now. The sky was darkening when it was only three in the afternoon. It was the doing of the dark clouds and the heavy outpour of the rain outside. Nevertheless,  there was that presence of one sole black falcon in one of the branch of the tree.That black bird again.Its eyes filled only with pure scarlet in color and its feathers were obviously drenched with  rain but it seemed unfazed as it only looked at her straight in the eyes.Instead of being scared, she felt very familiar with it. Maybe it was due to the fact that rain  or shine, it always visited her.Lifting her right hand, she waved at the bird and smiled brightly at it. Her brows slightly raised when she thought she saw the

Daeira had no idea if she should be thankful for the accompaniment of the strange guy or  what. But his presence definitely put her in a good mood as she was buying for groceries. Upon reaching the counter, she looked at the goods being ran into the scanner. She wasn't planning on buying much. Most especially for herself. Her stepmom only gave her enough for the groceries for that day and she got a little saving she kept hidden from them. When the cashier said how much the bill was, she felt her throat dry when it went over the budget.  "Here." the guy gave a black card to the cashier whose eyes glinted in astonishment at him.  Of course Daeira what the black card entailed. Only 1% of Korea's population owned such.  And that one percent belonged to the richest of the riches. She secretly observed him and realized that she hadn't introduced hersel

Daeira had woken up to the sounds of thundering after lightning stroke the sky. When she did so, she was greeted with the darkness inside her room and the rain waters hitting her window pane. Wincing over the headache, she bolted up from the bed and rubbed her eyes with sleepiness.  The clock on the desk beside the bed only indicated that it was only midnight. But it almost felt like she had slept very long with that strange dream of the man. She frowned when she can't remember his name again while she racked her head for his name. None. Then she looked for her memo, remembering that she wrote his name on his dream on her pink memo card. Crazy but she did look for the memo on her drawer but it wasn't there. She had no idea why she felt uneasy all of the sudden while she frustratingly turned to her back again and found nothing in there. Her dreams inside her mind slowly became blurry for more seconds past and she was closed to forgetting the look of that
