(Harper’s POV)   The sound of a car woke me up and for a moment, I was unsure of what the hell was going on. I woke up in a ditch in a ripped dress and my body felt like I had been hit by a truck. Then it all came back to me. Oh goddess, what was I going to do about Colton. There was no way I could go back to the pack house. (Harper’s POV) Colton picked me up and put me on the bed. I laid there crying with him curled around me stroking my hair and whispering that it was going to be ok. I was getting whiplash from his personality shifts, but even though he was the one who was making me so upset, his scent still gave me some comfort and I clung to that comfort.  At some point in the evening, I fell asleep and when I woke up again, it was pitch black.
