II. Thoughts of escaping

I wake up sometime later, and I find myself on my mattress. How did I even get here? I feel naked beneath my dirty, thin blanket. The last thing I remember is being in the kitchen, Alpha Max beating me, and then nothing. And why does my body hurts so much? It usually hurt, but now I feel at least two bruised ribs. IV. Escaping

I didn't want another beating and to risk not being able to run away. To my surprise, Alpha Max left me alone these past five days. He has been busy organizing his birthday party. As a result, he didn't even look at me when I crossed paths with him in the Pack House. Tonight is the night of the Full Moon – the night I am going to escape. I am very nervous, but I try to appear calm. No one must suspect that I want to run away. If Alpha Max even suspects what I am planning to do and that Ana is helping me, not even the Goddess will help us escape his anger.
