Chapter Ten"Drink this. It soothes. If you wanna get away from the ghost of your past, you should accept the present and strive for the future. This is kinda hard, by the way." Baron handed me a shotglass. My lips rose as I stared at it. He arched his brow. Short-tempered ass. I rolled my eyes before I took the drink he offered. He smiled boyishly and faced his girls again."Let's have fun, Van. Just forget your problems for the mean time!" Rashid said loudly because of the loud music background, we need to raise our voice for us to hear each other.I nodded and took straight gulp from the drink without hesitations. My face crumpled as I felt the sting on my throat but seconds later, I gained what Baron said, the soothing part. It's like it soothed my messed up mind. I find it fun so I took another shot, another and another, until I found myself standing and starting swaying my body. I da

He's resting at the white-painted wall here in infirmary, students who are passing by the hallway were wondering why me and this jerk are together."I'm sorry, we're already out of stock." The nurse came back only to tell me the bad news. What? Their pain reliever is already out of stock? What kind of infirmary this school has?"Okay, whatever!" I succeeded though. Easy-peasy things. At first, I traveled my eyes to the first classroom here on the first floor. I started observing carefully. I made sure I memorized his face before I planned of confronting him face to face. No one can get away from me. I'll make sure he'll face my wrath and he'll regret that he agreed with Dad's terms. I whispered loudly after I climbed up to the wall of the campus, at the back of the restroom where there were a lot of pieces of glass located in every peak of the wall.I'm not alone though, I'm with some delinquents in my batch whom I caught in the act of climbing the walls and I found out that cutting classes was already their expertise. They helped me to get out of the campus and we did it before the councils could catch us!But they're probably haunting us by now because of the CCTV camera. They might catch us any minutes from now."Thanks, guys. Here's my payment." I said and handed each of them a bubblegum.I blowed the bubblegum I'm chewing and it made a bomb sound the moment it grew bigger."Bubblegum? Seriously?" One of them, said disappointingly.
