Day 2The next morning Kat was greeted by Beeves and Boris in the Princesses apartments. Kat had done the night shift and they were to watch the Princess during the day while Kat got some sleep. The Princess was going to visit her Father this morning and all three of them would go as her protection. News had finally come in late last night that her father was out of surgery, but wasn’t out of the woods yet. His recovery would take months if he were to pull through. It had already been arranged that the Princess would go and see her Father at 9.20 this morning. Shimel had greeted Kat with a coffee and she had just finished it when the boys arrived.Boris greeted Kat with “Oh gosh Kat, you look like . .”“I don’t want to hear it” Kat cut in, just to let the boys know she was still sharp, despite how she must look. “Morning” the women both welcomed. Kat awoke at 5pm after a restful sleep. Oh how she needed that. She checked her comm, there were a couple of messages but none urgent. So she ordered some dinner to be sent over and hit the shower while she waited. Refreshed, dressed and hot meal in front of her she decided to check her messages. There was one from Boris about Rota being visited by her uncle Octave, who was by all accounts trying to get Rota to step away from the crown so he could rule while her Father recovered.
