Ruby showed no emotion on her face for the information she just received about the rude man from Mia. She still thought that it was rude of him to spill coffee on her pants and also behave rudely towards her. Just because he got a lot of money, does not mean that he could degrade common people’s lifestyle.Luke left the coffee shop while cursing the girl who he accidentally bumped into. His words from earlier were true, he would never go to a local coffee shop to have a cup of coffee. He only went there to meet his best friend, Gabriel, who followed him out of the coffee shop.“Man, that was some show huh?” Gabriel said, grinning at Luke as they settled in the car and Luke drove away. Luke sighed, “She is such a rude girl. I have never met someone like her.”Gabriel lit a cigarette and

When it was the next morning, Luke found himself getting ready to start the day with a fresh feeling. But little did he know what was in store for him.Suddenly, Luke’s phone rang and he picked up the call without looking at the caller ID.“Hello,”“Hello, is this Mr. Luke Sawyer?” a female voice came out.“Yes, and who are you?” He wondered who this girl was. He did not have any girlfriend. And he surely does not give his phone number to any of the one night stands or flings.“I am Linda, the receptionist from the hospital you visited yesterday,” Luke’s skin went pale at the mention of her identity. He did not want to even see that woman ever again.

“Goodness Gracious. What have you been doing? Why are you crying your eyeballs out?” Mia said as soon as Ruby opened her apartment door. A few hours earlier, Mia had received a phone call from Ruby, asking her to go to her house immediately. Mia could not figure out what emergency it could be. She had practically begged for permission from her superior at the company. And rushed over soon after she was allowed to take the day off. Ruby did not speak anything and silently walked inside the apartment. She plopped down on the bed. Her tears rolled down without any break. Mia noticed that and quickly moved closer to Ruby. She hugged her best friend and rubbed her back without speaking anything for now. Calming down Ruby was on her agenda for now. She could talk later. After a while of crying out loudly, Ruby calmed d

He was standing with a swimming pool in the background and he was holding the contract that is supposed to be signed by Luke and Ruby. He had taken off from work today, so he could drink all he wanted. They all had gathered at Gabriel's house the next day after Luke and Ruby agreed on the proposition. Luke had promised to contact her as soon as the contract was ready. But she did not know that Luke would be this quick. He had called her late at night to inform her about today's plan. He had picked Ruby and Mia first thing in the morning and drove to Gabriel's house. Gabriel was generous enou

After hearing David mention Luke's girlfriend, Anna could not keep still. She immediately excused herself saying she had to use the ladies' restroom. Luke smirked at her action. He did not miss how nervous she felt when she heard that he has a girlfriend.Anna walked outside the party hall and searched her purse for her phone. She quickly dialed the number. The phone rang for a few seconds before it was picked, "Hello?" A man's voice said."What took you so long to receive the phone call?" Anna asked restlessly. The man sighed and said, "Sister, I am a busy man and I have tons of work to do. I am not the chairman like your husband."Anna was irritated by it, "Whatever, Robert.
