Early in the morning, Diana received an e-mail from the Supervisor, Bryan Cook.   Upon receiving the notification on her phone, she thought she's being called back to work. She quickly opened the e-mail.   Unfortunately, that was not the content of his e-mail.   Instead of calling her back to work, he notified her that she will no longer be able to work at Hopton Research Institute.   Diana's eyes were about to tear up. She can't believe how they treat their employees. She couldn't explain how she is feeling. She felt like shouting, crying, and even slapping at the real culprit.   Knock! Later that night, Diana was folding her clothes after cleaning up and doing her laundry.   The apartment's door opened and Heather came in, changing her shoes into slippers.   "Hey Di! Did you eat yet?" Heather asked when she noticed Diana just getting out of her bedroom.   Diana shook her head. "Nope, I was waiting for you. I cooked dinner."   Heather noticed that Diana's mood had improved significantly. She didn't look as saddened as she did before.   "Aww.. you didn't have to wait for me. Hehehe So what did you cook?" Heather sniffed, trying to smell the food.   "Beef stew.. I got rice too. I found a recipe while I was on Chatify today." Diana said, smiling. "Ms. Silva" Ethan Taylor looked at Tamara questioningly as he saw her when he opened the door.   "Mr. Taylor." Tamara nodded. "I'm here to inform Mr. Ingram of the list of new applicants for the laboratory technician position. I was told to let him know if people from Hopton Research Institute will apply."   Ethan nodded in understanding. He opened the door wider and let Tamara enter. He stayed with them in the office.   "Good day Sir. Here is the list of the applicants. There are two people from Hopton Research Institute who applied for the position." Tamara said, giving the folder with the applicants' resumes. Lucas flipped through the files. "There's a Mr. Cook with managerial experience and the other is a Senior Laboratory Technician."   "I see. Let them appear for the interview. I want you to be thorough in evaluating the applicants." Lucas instructed, looking at her pointedly.  

At the Winchester Family's mansion, the grandparents Vergil and Regina sat across each other at the dinner table. On one side, sat Osmond, Regina, and Chantal. On the other, sat Mr. Richard Ward, his wife Elena, and their son Henry.   The two families were happily chatting, the guests every so often complimented the chef's cooking and the precious antiques that were displayed.   Mr. Richard Ward has always been focused on his work and only took time off to show formality with the Winchester Family. This is after Henry sought him out and told him of his decision to marry Chantal back in January. His wife Elena has met Chantal only in December before but they've spent time with each other frequently after that. Chantal even spent Christmas eve with them. So far, Elena is pleased with Chantal's attitude towards their family and especially to Henry.   This is why she has no objection when Henry announced that he will marry.
