Chapter 50
That’s a good girl. You will either sleep by your own accord, or I will force you to sleep; and it wont be a simple knockout.” Dorian warned, leaning away from Elika.Shakily wiping the tears from her eyes, the princess nodded, wrapping her arms around her legs. She feared what he would force her to endure if she refused to sleep, witnessing on many occasions what he did to those who disobeyed him. Elika turned away from him, glancing around the basement as her nervousness rose, stretching to dangerous limits. Along a far wall at the opposite side of the basement hung scared men and woman, their clothes torn and bloodied from the weeks of endless pain that Dorian forced upon them. She watched for days as their eyes slowly began to dull, the realisation that the agony would only continue breaking them one by one. The princess had been powerless to stop the psychotic immortal as he used brutal and unforgiving tools to break and dismantle their skin, her tear

Chapter 51
Darkous growled; he despised losing. Slamming his hand down on the wooden table he glared at his brother, how did he always win? Darkous was the one to plan and carry out attacks, he had been for the last hundred years. And yet here Hades was, beating him at yet another game of chess. Hades laughed, his night black eyes coated with bliss. The psychopathic lord had taken a break from recruiting, deciding hours ago to pay his brother a visit, his mood instantly lifting. He would retrieve the little princess in a couple of days, taking her out of Dorians care after weeks of her being trapped within his clutches. Darkous suspected that the girl wouldn’t last much longer, her disobedient traits bound to take over. Leaning back in his chair, the psychopathic lord snarled slightly, lighting a cigarette as he scowled towards his older brother, irritated that he once again failed to beat him at the strategic board game. How hard was it anyway? “So what’s that b

“I’m not implying to lose in single combat, more to teach her how to block attacks, then get a mere soldier to lose in single combat. It should be highly amusing to watch the soldier fail, just so we can teach the peasant that losing a fight against a young girl is not tolerated.” The demonic being muttered, its voice layering with malice.“We teach her self defence and then put her up against a trained soldier? Then punish the loser whether it is the girl, or the soldier we chose? ... “ his psychopathic lord paused, smiling wickedly as he rose from his seat, beginning to pace alongside his brother; the room remaining silent as he communicated with the demonic creature in his mind. What if we force her to fight more than one opponent if she wins? And continue to increase the number if she is successful, but also punish her is she fails or is beaten? The demonic creature nodded, its fangs puncturing its bottom lip as its smile grew; becomin

Chapter 53
Elika shivered, the damp concrete floor beneath her icy and unbearable as she woke from the depths of sleep; the cold seeping through her oversized pale blue gown. She huddled further into the bricked wall of Dorians basement, attempting the rub the warmth back into her frozen limbs. Slowly pulling her legs towards her chest, she continued to tremble lightly, glancing around the eerie dark basement as she searched for any sign of the feral immortal; fearing that he lingered after she slipped into the depths of sleep. The princess sighed in relief as she glanced around the underground room, the silence informing her that he had left; perhaps to acquire another subject he could torture. Continuing to shiver, she forced her mind away from fear, instead hoping that her deranged uncle would come to collect her soon. Believing that even his brutality barely scratched the surface of what the animalistic immortal was capable of.Elika snapped her head towards a far wall, her shoulder

Chapter 54
Elika jumped when the thundering clang of the basement door barrelled down into the underground chamber, her heart thumping against her ribcage as her fear rose; reaching dangerous limits. She cowered back against the wall as the recognisable mechanical white eyes shot through the darkness, the lifeless vessels turning towards her. The owner, someone who drove terror into her heart, the beastly immortal that ripped her away from everything she knew; trapping the princess within his clutches. Darkous.  Pulling her knees towards the chest, Elika hid her face as the dark lord strolled towards her, carefully adjusting his hat.“This place never gets boring.” Darkous chuckled, scanning the room with care; his eyes locking on each mortal prisoner that hung from the walls.“Are you taking her back today? She has been a rather good girl.” The psychotic man questioned, his smile intensifying as he slammed the woman onto the ground; strolling towards

The princess hesitantly took his hand, unable to grasp the meaning of what her uncle had said as he aided her to stand; his scowl seeming to deepen. What test was he performing that involved him slamming her into the ground, with no explanation to what she had done wrong? She wrapped her arms around her stomach as she nodded, deciding against asking the dark lord any further questions. Taking a shaky breath, she glanced up at him, recoiling at his bloodthirsty snarls.“Right, we need to get moving.” Darkous sighed, turning towards the door as he summoned a portal; the swirling black mass appearing in only seconds.Elika stared into the unnatural darkness, taking a deep breath as she followed her uncle towards portal; her small frame trembling in fear. Why had he slammed her into the ground, injured her when she made no move to disobey his orders? She held her breath as she disappeared into the eerie black, the barren feeling of falling surrounding her in on

Chapter 56
The psychopathic lord slowly released his hold on the princess, carefully moving to stand beside his brother as he continued gazing at the various machines; twisting the dark vials. Staring at the machines, Darkous was unable to understand the mass of numbers and sequences that spread across the screens; as though it inhabited some strange and foreign language. Seeming to ensure that no one could decipher its meanings, nor discover the results. The psychopathic lord shook his head in annoyance, growing irritated with his brothers silence as he lightly tapped his fingers on a red dial, only turning it every couple of seconds.“What does all this shit mean?” Darkous questioned harshly, snarling slightly as he continued to stare dumbfounded at the strange machine.Hades chuckled, turning his attention towards a larger machine as it beeped, his silence stretching out for another moment. When he finished searching through the various codes and numbers, the king

Chapter 57
The princess screamed, desperately pushing against the restraints as Hades applied more pressure to the clamp, crushing her fingers one by one. Tears fell from her eyes as she attempted to struggle, her uncle brutally performing experiments on her while she remained strapped in the wooden chair; completely defenceless. Elika whimpered as the regeneration process started almost instantly, beginning to stitch her bones back together as Hades worked tirelessly to break them; the process deadly agonising. He had somehow amplified her ability, ensuring that she healed after every burst of torture he threw her way; unrelenting as he tested the boundaries of power. Crying, the princess placed her head against the back of the chair, panting as sweat formed across her forehead. The bones in her fingers snapped back into place suddenly, causing Elika to scream; the sound echoing through the vast laboratory. She had gone from one torture to the other, the dark lord never returning for her as s

“Why did you attack me? What did you gain from that?” Michael questioned; his scowl moulding into a sadistic smile.Elika pushed her back further into the wall, hesitantly backing away as she spoke; her tone seemingly level. “I ... I wont allow Hades to experiment on me again.”“Are you in any position to argue? Your uncles will not allow you to defy them.” The dark lords comrade chuckled, taking a step towards her.“But what they do is wrong! All Hades has done for weeks is snap and twist my bones over and over again! Forcing me to take drugs and injecting me with painful substances. I cant take it anymore!” the princess screamed, continuing to back away from her uncles comrade as he advanced on her; her fear only increasing. She needed a way to escape, somewhere that she could run to; but where? Who would take in Atlas only daughter after all he had done? All he had forced the people to endure.“Don&

The psychopathic lord concealed his handcrafted katana as he removed it from the sheath within his leather jacket, carefully positioning it at his side. He smiled manically when Michael prevented the girl from retreating, the fascinating blue aura that pulsed across her chest slowly receding; as though it knew the damage it had caused. Darkous slowly lifted the magnificent sword, ensuring that his niece would remain unknowing of its existence until it was too late. Snarling in a manner that resembled that of an animal, the psychopathic lord brutally slammed the handle of his katana into the side of her head; a sickening crack stretching throughout the hall. Perhaps I used more force that was necessary, he chuckled within his mind, knowing that his brother was barrelling back down the hall towards him; growling in anger. The little princess eyes widened for a short moment before she tumbled into the ground, blood oozing from a wound in the side of her head.No ma
