The Day Of The Initiation
Aida paced around the back of Prince Dakar's castle, partially worried. What they were doing was very illegal, and if they were caught? That could be worse than death. Why did she even agree to doing this in the first place? Avril had told Gia to go and spy on her friends and tell her where they were. Gia had agreed and immediately she left, Avril turned to her and asked to be taken to the prince's castle. Avril had promised to be quick so Aida agreed. She had taken her through his house as quiet as possible and went back to stand outside.  “I'm so stupid,” she muttered and slapped herself. The roof was far up, so she couldn't hear a thing. How Avril knew the Prince would be up there, she wondered. Why did she even want to talk with the Prince?  “Aida,” she heard her name and gasped as she saw Avril with the cloak in her hands. She was staggering as she walked and almost fell down to the ground if not for Ai

The Initiation
Camper was very serious, so Avril couldn't laugh. She bit her lower lip and heaved a deep sigh. “Uhm, which girl are you talking about again?” “The dark skinned one, with the body. You know, the shape. Hour glass,” he said and even demonstrated it. “Nana. Her name is Nana,” Avril said.  “Nana,” he called dreamingly. “Feels so good on my mouth. Tell me, how does she like her men?” he asked and Avril tapped her index finger on her lips. “She likes bold men. Men with authority and a well built body,” she answered. He moved backwards and spread out his arms. “Do you think I'm well built enough?” “Hmmm... Yeah. You're not like the men I've seen since I came here. But you'll do.” “Would she like me? My body I mean.” “Yes. She definitely would.”   “Okay. I'm bold, very bold. And I have enough authority. Also, do you know?” he asked and beckoned on her to move closer with his ha

Ñiraka's Visit
Prince Dakar's breathing turned ragged as he clutched the chair for support.“My prince,” Ñiraka called to him as she noticed he wasn't okay. She tried to hold his hand but he pulled it away. “Son, are you okay?” his father asked. He breathed in deeply and opened his eyes.“Yes, father. I am okay,” he answered and sat upright. The pain had gone so he was back to normal. “What is her name?” the king asked aloud. Everyone settled their eyes on the man in the middle of the field again. He reached into his pocket and picked out a paper. He took it towards the light of a fire on a pole and pronounced the first name his eyes fell on among the list of names.“Fiorella,” he said and drummers beat noisily on their drums.“From today henceforth, the human girl will be called Fiorella which is translated as Flower. She shall be treated as one of us because she

Verona
Avril looked left and right the spaces between each building. The houses were built close to each other so the spaces were not too wide. She couldn't hear any voices, and it seemed like they were the only ones outside.“Is the palace always this empty?” she asked her maidens.“Well, it's not empty. Just that no one is walking around this vicinity yet. People only walk when they have to go somewhere, right?” Aida asked.“Yeah. Uhm, can we go towards the prince's castle?” she asked in a low voice. Aida and Gia exchanged puzzled glances.“We can't?” Avril asked.“We can. Only if we are called by him or sent by the Alpha. Only Ñiraka has that liberty to go in and out of his house,” Gia explained.“Which means we can't. Eish!” They walked in silence, looking at the trees and other buildings. Avril saw the dried leaves being blown about and she reme

Peeping At The Prince
“What? No! Damn, I hate her!” Avril retorted and her held unconsciously moved up to her hair. She winced in pain from her back and dropped her hand immediately.“Oh sorry. Be more careful. That shit is painful,” Verona sympathized. “Uhm, Verona. Can I find somewhere to sit? I'm tired of standing,” Avril said.“You're taking permission from me? Don't be that soft, please. There's a bench under that tree. Wanna sit there?” she pointed at a tree close to her building and Avril nodded. They walked there silently, except for Verona's frequent bubble bursting. Avril heaved a deep sigh as she sat down. Something was wrong with her and she didn't know what. She was suddenly feeling nervous. “I need to see my friends. Gia, how can I see them today?” she asked Gia who was behind her.“Ehmm.. when? I don't think they're also strong enough to meet up righ

Dakar's Trip Preparation
Verona poked Avril in the shoulder gently, so she looked at her.“Let's go,” she mouthed without any sound. Avril nodded and looked at the fence again, as if she could see Dakar through it. She turned around and gently crawled out in a way it wouldn't hurt her back. They reached the building itself and straightened up. They walked quite a distance before any of them could breathe well.“That was fun, right?” Verona asked with beaming eyes as she chewed endlessly on her bubble gum. Avril chuckled.“I might do that everyday,” she said and laughed. Verona was impressed and nodded while gazing at her.“I like you. I like you a lot,” she confessed sincerely. Avril was pleased that Verona landed on her good side, but before she could say anything else, Camper was seem strolling towards them in a hurry. “Oh, hey Camps!” Verona hailed at him. He seemed to be absent minded as he walke

Verona Comes Visiting
Avril was a little downtrodden when she learned that Dakar had left the pack. She wanted to see him the next day, after her brief encounter with him. It was Camper who told her that he went on a solo trip. Surprisingly, he had come for a visit that day Dakar left. “Any problem, Camper?” she had asked him as she saw him in the living room. Aida had come to tell her he was around. “Nothing, just came to keep you company. Is Verona still here?” he had asked in return. “Right here. What is it, Camps?” came Verona's voice from the balcony of the upper floor. She was looking down at them. “Nothing, just asked. Anyway, Fiorella, may I sit?” Avril nodded and he sat down and heaved a sigh. “What did your creepy prince want you for?” Verona asked as she climbed down the stairs. Avril just sat at another couch. “He's leaving Remus, again,” Camper replied and Avril's neck strained. “What? Why? Where's he going?” she asked amd Verona peered at her for a few seconds. “He didn't tell me. Don

A Night At The Prince's Quarters
Her heart stopped working and she felt everything become so silent. She looked into Dakar's eyes with courage and surprisingly, she felt familiar with them. Those green orbs stared back at her in an intense way.“You are beautiful, Fiorella,” he muttered loud enough for her to hear. She gulped down and exhaled.“Prince Dakar, you truly don't remember me?” she asked. His eye brows furrowed.“What do you mean?” he asked, not changing their position by the wall.“I... Well, you and I are...,” she trailed off again, not knowing what else to say to make some sense.“You don't seem familiar and I haven't dealt with a human this young before. What makes you think I know you?” he asked.“My island wolf,” she pronounced and stared deep into his eyes. Dakar felt that gaze, his insides churned. His right hand moved involuntarily and cupped her face. His face moved swiftly and he captured her lips, kissing her ravenously like she was a tough prey. He didn't know why he moved that way, but he didn

Tiny Signs Of Bravery
“Fiorella,” Dakar called and she gently looked up at him.“This night, I'm being nice, I agree. Because it's your first night here. You're human, I'm not. Or at least, I'm not fully human. If it was a shifter female sitting down there right now, I might not be this cool. Wait, she wouldn't even be sitting right now. But I'm being considerate to you, because you're human,” he spilled out. Avril almost rolled her eyes at his speech.“So? I should worship you for that?” she asked sarcastically. His smirk formed on his face again and he rubbed the side of his nose with his index finger.“Yes. You should,” he answered.“I won't do that. You're just a normal person to me. I won't fear you. I don't fear anyone,” Avril retorted and his eyes dilated a bit. Wow, her voice sure sounded brave. He knew his Avril was stubborn, but not too brave. This woman here was showing tiny signs of bravery. It was at the tip of Dakar's tongue to ask her what happened to her those two years they were separated.

Punk Face Of A Prince
Avril pinned her upper teeth on her lower lip in rage. Why was he playing with her? She wasn't a little naive girl who could be teased around. “Where is that sneaky wolf?” she said with a scowl on her face. She dumped the paper on the bed and ikrkhurried out of the room, as fast as her legs could e her. She threw the door open and walked through it. In few seconds, she was already hurrying down the grand staircase with her feet making 'clank clank' sounds. She hurried through the front door after pushing it open. It was early in the morning and the sun was starting to rise. Avril knew that Dakar hadn't gone far and she just wanted to catch up with him and warn him never to tease her again. The thought that she missed The Weak End Fight because of his call, and not even doing anything worth it added to her rage.Servants were the only ones walking around, during some morning duties. There was no distinguished person in sight. She stopped hurrying and slowed down, thinking she wouldn't
