I sat speechless on my hospital bed as the little girl, Diana, rambled on about this ridiculous story, her grandma being a witch who put a spell on her parents. The curse only took effect when they ate broccoli. I did my best not to look skeptical, but I couldn't help but let my mind wander slightly. I slowly looked towards the door, the hospital was unusually quiet, which made me hesitate and look back at Diana. The little girl was still rambling on and didn't mind insulting me a few times just to show how more superior she was.
