The doctor that showed up only did the bare minimum since Kasey was still human. It was night by the time Kasey paused to rest. She sat down on a fallen tree. Why the tree had fallen was the last thing on her mind. what was on her mind was how broken her legs felt. As soon as Kasey let go of Mammon's hand, she had a sinking feeling in her chest. As if she just sold herself to him. The enthusiasm Mammon was clearly showing wasn't much help either. Kasey flinched when she watched his canine teeth elongate, slowly Sonneillon brushed her hair out of the way and tilted her head as he slowly rested his teeth against her skin.
