Paula's p.o.v I blinked a few times then shifted to the side to block the light that was blinding my eyes. "She's opening her eyes, please inform his highness." Lauren's voice came through. "His highness." I muttered softly then quickly sat upright in fear. "Don't panic, you are safe." Cleo said loudly. I looked at her then at my other ladies and relaxed. Lauren moved closer and helped me sit upright. "Thank you." I whispered. I looked at the door when it opened. Adrean walked in with a smile. "Paula, thank heavens you are awake. I was getting worried." He said loudly. I was shocked that he was in my room. How did he even manage to walk past the guards? "Can you please leave us."

                      Henry's p.o.v It's been weeks since I've been searching for Paula and her ladies. I really didn't know where else to look. Her father knew nothing of her disappearance and I made sure it stayed that way. If he was to find out that I was so cruel to his only daughter, he would have either taken her back or made my kingdom into his enemy.  I was so scared and heartbroken, there was never a day that went by without me remembering her beautiful smile and stubborn character. Most times I usually found myself laughing, and on rare times crying for her. I needed her so much and I was willing to do anything if she were to ask. All I wanted was to have her forgiveness. The doors to my bed chamber's opened and Jack walked in. "What?" I asked huskily. He shook his head sadly then moved closer. 

Adrean's p.o.v A few days went by quickly and in those days I was very close to Paula, chatting and laughing, it was clear to me that she would never love me as much as she loved Henry. I didn't want to but I was going through with my mother's plan, I didn't want her to hate me no matter what so I convinced my mother to drug her at the night of the ball.  One of the servants was going to put a drug powder in her wine that would really arouse and affect her to the point of her wanting to have a way with me. Since she rarely drunk, I was sure that she was going to blame it on the wine. That way she would not have an idea that it was all my doing.  All I needed to do was to stay by her side and wait for the drug to take effect. Henry wasn't invited and I made sure that Paula had no idea about it. My Ladies were right by my side as people's eyes landed on me. I took in a deep breath and walked forward. Adrean met me halfway and asked me for a dance. I agreed even though my mind was elsewhere.
