Chapter 14: Back home

Ever since Nicholas promoted me to Assistant Chief Editor, he had been coming to our floor to check on me. Sometimes we would go out to eat lunch and sometimes he would order someone to get something for us. Throughout those days, I learned a lot about him and his family. I learned that his parents separated when he was a child and his mother took him away, he never saw his father again.
