A few months passed, and it was Triston's 19th birthday, and Evelyn planned a party for Triston with the help of Reese.  When Triston arrived at the restaurant, he was surprised to see many people waiting for him with a birthday cake. He saw Reese and his wife Samantha, his Martial Arts trainer James, his wife Rachel, son Josh, and Evelyn with her best friend, Ava. Triston was taken back to the time 12 years ago when he celebrated his birthday with his parents at the hotel with a grand party. He was overwhelmed by their gesture and felt that he was not alone anymore. After the cake cutting, Triston approached Reese. " Thank you. It reminds me of Mom and Dad," Triston said, feeling delighted." You should thank Evelyn. It was her idea."" Is it?" Triston asked, surprised." Why are you even surprised; I expected nothing less from her," Reese remarked. " Did you tell her

Reader discretion is advised. The hooded stranger pounced on the goon nearest to Evelyn and threw him across the room with such force that he hit the window smashing it into pieces. Another guy intervened, and the hooded man punched him hard. The third goon attacked from behind, but he held his hand and twisted it breaking it instantly. The goon cried out, holding his arm and running for the door, but the stranger was not done. He grabbed him by his shirt, twisted his other arm, and only stopped when he heard the cracking sound. The fourth guy was still standing behind Evelyn, frozen in shock. The hooded man stared at him furiously and screamed, " Get away from her."The guy flinched and instantly got away from Evelyn and pleaded. " I-I didn't do anything."" How dare you touch her?" he roared so loud the goon almost pissed his pants. " I-I am sorry. You can take her away.

For the next few days, Evelyn received notes from Adam on a few occasions. There was no defined pattern for the frequency of the letters. Sometimes, there were letters every other day and sometimes nothing for a week. Additionally, the contents of all of them were almost identical, telling her how much he loved her and would always protect her.Another thing that seems to have changed is the bullying. The bullies didn't bother Evelyn much these days. Whenever they saw Evelyn, they just turned around and left as if they had seen a ghost. As Evelyn observed their behavior, she wondered why they acted so strangely. Also, they were often seen with cuts and bruises on their faces.Evelyn always shared everything with Ava, who had grown increasingly concerned for her after the kidnapping incident." Did you find anything about Adam?" Ava asked. " Do you know who he is?"" Nothing yet," Evelyn replied." Do you still get the letters?"" Yes."" Anything new?"" No, the same."" What about th

Evelyn got a firm warning from the Principal, whereas the Cliff twins and the bullies sat there as if they owned the office without an ounce of regret. But luckily for Evelyn, she did not receive any severe punishment because the Principal would then have to punish the Cliff twins too.Triston was waiting for Evelyn outside the Principals office, looking very disturbed." A-Are you alright?" he immediately asked Evelyn checking her out." I am perfectly fine. Those creeps can't even land a proper punch. " Evelyn chuckled." This is not over yet," Fred spat from behind, annoyed by Evelyn's insult." Show me what you got," Evelyn sneered." B**ch!!! How dare you..."Fred moved forward to attack Evelyn but was held back by his twin Jeff." Stop it, Fred!! We are in front of the Principal's office. Let's go now." Jeff and his friends dragged Fred and left." Jerks!!" Evelyn remarked and turned to face Triston, who was shaking and sweating profusely.Evelyn placed a hand on Triston's shoul

The Cliff twins were beyond pissed. They and their friends immediately left the University and went to their usual hangout to let off steam." That guy went too far," Jeff snarled, kicking a chair angrily." We have never been humiliated like this," Fred seethed, equally angry." I swear I will kill that guy," Jeff said, looking deadly." Calm down, guys," Austin tried to say but was stopped by Brad." How the f**k do we calm down? Didn't you see what he did?"" None of the students in the entire University even dared to look at us in the eye, but today they were openly mocking us," Fred spat." We have to do something. We can't sit here and just complain," Jeff said with determination." But what can we do? We don't even know who he is," Jake commented." We must find out somehow," Fred said, taking out his phone and dialing a number. He asked the other person to get hold of the CCTV footage of the gym in the Cliff Resort where Adam had drugged them. After a few minutes, Fred got a c
